Texas was a standalone nation of Anglos that fought a war against Mexico for their own independence, it used to be a white state. that is not objective history, you are completely leaving out the fact that they still had large amount of mexican settlers and traders/merchants. It used to be fucking mexico, and back then they treated the natives like they were less than human, and probably were not at all accurately accounted for.

You posted a graph, which (conveniently) has no source. So for all we know those numbers back in the 1800's could have been any asshole doing a rudimentary census. Who knows how far south texas they even went.
