NPC game: destroy the mind control tower, save the city

Imagine a sci-fi dystopian city where all the citizens are NPCs: a soulless grid of rusted steel and worn concrete. Neon signs bleed through ventilation fog as flying vehicles exhaust colored light trails and pedestrians march in ideological conformity. The economy has been perverted towards pure hedonism and thought police aggressively patrol every corner. You are one of the rare few who has not been mind controlled and your mission is to disable the main transmitter in the center of the city. The transmitter is powered by five stations, each one connected by huge fibre optic pipes pumping corrupt 0s and 1s to the transmitter to be beamed into NPC minds 24/7. These stations are spread throughout the city and include a university campus, a mainstream media office, a hollywood studio, a server farm for a social media tech giant and a deep state office bureaucracy. One by one you must infiltrate and shut off these propaganda sources, defeating boss enemies and cutting the supply to the main transmitter. The final showdown takes place in the transmitter tower once all its power sources have been cut. Soros himself (represented by an ugly Jabba the Hutt monster) must be defeated and ripped from the transmitter's life support system to finally disable it and free the citizens from their mental imprisonment.

Your only weapon in the game is information. By exposing NPCs to truthful information they can't handle it eventually causes them to short circuit, fall down and go offline long enough for you to get away. You learn new red pills as you explore and progress through the game, enabling new info-attacks (for example "communism doesn't work" or "there are only 2 genders"). You also unlock more and more powerful delivery systems for the information, from simply shouting with your voice to using loudspeakers, audio grenades, posters and even hacking into PA systems, billboard screens and NPCs themselves. But each unwanted truth invites aggression from NPCs and especially thought police whose physical attacks you must block or dodge as you continue to dispense information and race through the city, leaping from rooftop to rooftop and weaving between flying traffic, cutting off power to the main transmitter.

There is no wage gap
There is no rape culture
Regret is not rape
Accusations aren't evidence
Innocent until proven guilty
Kavanaugh is innocent
Communism doesn't work
Communism killed over 100 million people
Mass immigration hurts the environment
Illegal immigration is illegal
A nation without borders is not a nation
Non-citizens can't vote
Censorship is not an argument
It's okay to be white
There are only 2 genders
Front holes heal shut

>more ideas?

NPCs may be slightly specizlied depending on their main focus (feminist NPCs, marxist NPCs, etc) and certain redpills will be extra effective against certain types

surprisingly based actually

“Imagine”

the title in itself sounds like they live

I guess people play games to escape reality, if this is too similar to it people might not want to play
but you usually aren't leaping from rooftops and flying cars IRL and throwing audio redpill dispensing sonic weapons at hordes of semi-robotic enemies

perhaps it could take some of the retro vibe and aesthetics from that movie, but also matrix and blade runner

its called crackdown 3 and its shit

Cyberpunk 2077

don't think its very similar to crackdown 3 except maybe some of the city aesthetics

Literally the concept plot of the protomens second album.

>With his former partner now ostracized, Wily is free to enact his plans without resistance. As the years pass, the citizens of the city slowly begin to depend more and more on the robots who have become a part of their everyday life, turning the city into a technological marvel ("How the World Fell Under Darkness").

>Years later, a generation has been born, one which lives a life of leisure, never knowing the world their parents had lived in before Wily's robots; still, there are rumors of a red-eyed demon which patrols the dark streets of the city, one which will make you disappear for good if you are overheard speaking against Wily or his new world.

>A young man named Joe, tired with what the city has become, attempts to escape ("Breaking Out") and is hunted down by the demon, in actuality the robot which killed Emily years earlier.

>In the outskirts of the city, Joe realizes that he is being followed ("Keep Quiet"); he engages the machine in a fight and, after managing to shoot the robot with its own weapon, holds it off long enough for an aged, grey-haired Doctor Light to appear and kill it. After introducing himself to the youth, Light removes the robot's green helmet, giving it to Joe to wear.

>As they talk, Light and Joe begin to make plans to take down Wily and free the city from his reign ("Light Up the Night"): Joe will break into and scale Wily's tower in order to destroy his main transmitter, allowing Light to slip into the city and kill Wily while his 'eyes' are down. The pair make their move, and Joe manages to execute the first part of his plan perfectly, crashing through the doors of Wily's compound with his motorcycle and setting the bomb that he will detonate to destroy the transmitter at the top of the tower ("The Fall").

that's probably what the outside of the city would look like, a high tech alcatraz
