Think about this... we were not far away from A Hillary v. Jeb Bush election. If you include GHWs time as VP, that would make the Obama years the only time without a Bush or Clinton directly seated in the White House since 1981. At what point do we flat out become an oligarchy?

It's a combination of things. First, he wasn't meant to win. Hillary was who the deep state had picked and trump was a fluke. Secondly, it's just a shit time to be president because we are at the height of the social justice movement, if Obama wasn't black he probably would have received a lot more criticism but his race protected him a lot.
