Same doctor put him on cholesterol drugs, and thyroid drugs, when from what I understand, he could simply eat less saturated fat and cholesterol and possibly increase intake of iodine and or selenium to possibly solve those problems. Yet the doctors seem to think there is no option but drugs. They don’t even consider anything else. They say it’s pure “genetics”
Also when I was a child doctors convinced my parents to dope me up with shitloads of amphetamines just because I was bored of the classwork which was way too easy. I wasn’t even talkative or disruptive at all. I ended up suffering heart palpitations, head splitting headaches and paranoia and delusions for years, and when I told them this they simply only offered me more drugs, and wouldn’t let me stop taking the drugs despite me begging. From ages 8 to 13

i lucked out. my life magically turned around and i had no "real" problems left to blame my constant depression on. sadly, most will never get this great opertunity of insight. then i started on the pills i had so long rejected. what a waist of my prior 10+ years. THEY WORKED! therapy works even better. now im in therapy and weaning off ssri's per doctors instructions with medical marijuana.. idk, just my story

Hell even washing your skin can apparently fuck up your vitamin d levels by removing the precursors that create it from sunlight
