Legitimate question for Southern Anons. I was born in Florida and lived there until I was 4 years old, and moved to New York where I currently live.
My father and his family are Floridians but my mother and her family are Italians from New York. Am I considered a Northerner or a Southerner? I tell my friends that because I was born in the South I am considered a Southerner, but they tell me that because I lived a majority of my life in NY that I cannot claim to be from the South. Am I larping or am I a true Southerner?
