Democracy has nothing to do with freedom. It is the rule by majority decision. Freedom is self rule. Self rule cannot exist in a competitive system of interaction unless you are capable of defending your own rights against those that would enforce their will on you.

I'd say 80-90% of people literally just don't know what is best for them. They're unconcious of the fact that their actions are negative, solely for immediate pleasure, or degenerate. This realization made me finally understand the reason autocracies have done so well throughout human history. Supporting individual strength/health/creativity is still extremely important, but of course to go fully collective or fully individualist would be doomed from the start. Total individualism leads to cultural decay and degeneration, while total collectivism leads to mass murder of innocent dissenters and eventual stagnation. This is why a healthy midpoint must be found using the most effective parts of both schools of thought. This is how I became a National Socialist.
