Member states of this union will be Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, with Kosovo being an autonomous region in Serbia. The point of this all is to unite the South Slavic Orthodox peoples into a single more powerful political entity, whether it be through a more decentralized approach such as a confederation or a more centralized federation. The union will be based on cultural and religious similarities, alongside the factor that all participating states use the Cyrillic alphabet. This way foreign influence will have a lesser effect on all member states, economic and demographic growth will be accelerated and minority groups will have a lesser impact on the political scene. While not out of the question, Republika Srpska is not included because they are legally bound to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

No it was very different. Yugoslavia was a union that included Croatia Slovenia and Bosnia and excluded Bulgaria. That meant there were Catholics living in the nation, not to mention many muslims too. On top of that Croats and Slovenes used the Latin alphabet. Also there was a much greater sense of centralization in Yugoslavia.
