Snopes also edits, and updates, and keeps no record of these updates.
They take an issue, and break it down into generalizations, then they either disprove the generalization, or using the Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy, they identity an illogical trend in the examined source.
Example: Clinton Body Bags cases explains the MM victim as "untrue" because she was not the ONLY victim. (Mary Mahoney)
In yet another Clinton Body Bags case, they omit a victim (Monica Peterson) entirely, and this is done to validate the data continuum of "zero truth".
I'd advise them not to defend guilty people....
Academically, Snopes is chump level and it is sad how they continue.
