Cars should be banned. Ideally.
We should have trolleys, trains, walking, biking. Cars should only be used for emergencies (ambulance, police cars), shipping supplies (trucks), and special occasions like riding home from the hospital after making a white baby. It will be like calling a taxi.

Trains were always able to compete with cars and trucks, especially for long haul delivery. They would still be competitive even today, except all the railroad lines were ripped up and abandoned.

Trains are a great source of transportation you idiot. Faster than a car, cheaper than a plane. Could be used to go from Dallas to Houston or D.C. to New York City or LA to Seattle and look at the lovely scenery as you are more productive doing work, reading, or shitposting on a train.
