They're fielding new doomsday narratives to adopt after people become fatigued with the failed predictions of CO2 hysteria. It's pretty close to getting to that point, which is why they're doing a hail mary with the propaganda. When that fails, they'll try to push the "methane trigger" bullshit, which will also fail, but there will be a new generation of kids to brainwash who don't remember all the failed hype around CO2.
They've literally been pushing the same species of doomsday bullshit for almost 200 years now -- they just change up the narratives a little and feed them to a new bunch of morons, who in turn vote away even more power from themselves.

i think a lot more people have caught to the game they're playing, and a LOT more people are now more educated on the climate history of the planet than they used to be, so scaretactic headlines like "HOTTEST YEAR ON RECORD" dont have the effect that they used to, because everyone knows that's complete bullshit. And a big part of the reason why more people are better educated around it is because of forums like these... which is why they will not be allowed to continue to exist.
