Why has socialism failed every single time it has ever been implemented?
Serious question
Lack of individual accountability.
Venezuela's has problems but that doesn't mean it failed. Has capitalism failed because most shithole countries are capitalist?
Because they're not doing Agile, I mean Socialism, correctly.
It requires people to give a shit about each other and accept a lowest common poverty.
>Why has socialism failed every single time it has ever been implemented?
Because it's dysgenic. You're taking money from the most productive citizens and giving it to the least productive.
I've known many people on welfare. Every one of them is gaming the system. Usually they live together while still claiming they are renting individual units, so they get the housing subsidy. They farm kids for government grants. Meanwhile, honest hard working citizens get to give away half their paycheck to these leeches as a reward for toiling their lives away. It's sickening.
it hasnt, what you see is the success of socialism
It's the opposite. It's crabs in a bucket pulling everyone down so that everyone suffers as the middle class is obliterated and all social mobility ceases.
Incentives.
When you build an entire system on literal theft, you are building a system on such a weak foundation that it's bound to crumble, and crumble quickly.
/thread
This. Every socialist "revolutionary" I know wants a revolution to allot themselves more privileges and remove responsibility from their lives, not improve humanity.
I only wish we had a more generous welfare system here so I could go fell NEET and leech off productive fools like our privileged European friends. At least I'm fucking honest about it.
What about Sweden,Finland and Norway?
Actually laughed
Fuck off Cato shill. It never really has! Russia and China were dictatorships.
Human nature. People won't settle for mediocrity.Which is what socialism/globalism is.
With mass migration they will crumble soon. Only ethno white countries with no immigration can it actually work. Like in Germany before the jews stabbed them in the back
Because it goes against human nature.
Venezuela has had CIA and worse undermining it for years. US plutocrats would never let it succeed.
because socialism
Lack of motivation. You don't get anything extra, if you improve yourself, work hard and are responsible. People are selfish, which is why we have survived for so long
>It's the USA's fault my economic system sucks
Cry more bitch nigga. The USSR was probably the shortest lived empire in history next to Alexander the Great's. Socialism literally caused a global superpower to collapse in less than a century.
Capitalism ends up being theft from the whole of society by the rich though. It seems like a fair and logical system to brainlets but results in the monetisation of power which flows ever upward into the hands of fewer and fewer people.
This. It will crumble eventually because of third world migrants.
The left doesn't want to admit or doesn't understand that it only works in Scandi because it was 99% percent white. Once it no longer is a vast majority white country, it will not work.
Where is this?
>t. Jeremy Corbyn
Then stop being content with your current status, work hard, try to get the best of it and get to the top
the idea behind communism is to impoverish the rich and enrich the poor
all the communist dictators skip the second step and keep all the money instead, for (((some reason)))
Humans are corrupt.
If you want to make everyone equal, and some are pretty and some are ugly, you can't make everyone pretty, but you can make them ugly.
If you want to make everyone same height, byt some are tall and others short, uou can't make everyone tall, but you can make them short.
If you want to make everyone equally prosperous but some are rich and some are poor, you can't make everyone rich but you sure can make everyone poor.
Because sooner than later people get that they live NEETly at the expense of wagecucks
Socialism is for failures who want power over winners
You don't want losers running the show
Capitalism works fine as long as the rich can't just import third world labor to undercut the workers' salaries.
Who published that? Odds on it was funded by right wing think tank
It was communism not socialism plus they didn’t do it right and it ended up a dictatorship
>Russia was a global superpower before the creation of the USSR
Do what nigga? If Russia stayed as the Russian empire, it would have collapsed even faster.
Every economic system implemented has failed, and they all have a (((common denominator))).
Treating everyone like they can get to the top is ridiculous tho. Most people don’t have the ability, luck or inclination. Getting by in life shd be ok too. Giving all the resources to those at the top results in dystopia
It was never supposed to work, it was just supposed to be the carrot on the end of the string. When socialism is implemented, capitalism then becomes the carrot on the string. The goal is to keep people chasing the carrot, it doesnt matter what kind of carrot it is to puppet masters, only to plebs
Define socialism and define success.
Socialism isn't as efficient as capitalism in production, but it never claimed to be. Capitalism is the most-powerful system on Earth, and as long as it exists, any state that wants to defend itself must adopt the basic tenets of capitalism.
As for Venezuela, the problem was that they were too dependent on oil and they didn't develop their own industries. So they literally traded oil to buy everything. When oil prices dropped they couldn't afford to buy anything.
I mean, what do you think would have happened to the Confederacy if there was a sudden drop in cotton prices?
The problem for Venezuela and many other countries is, it is difficult for them to develop industries which can compete against "mature" industries in other parts of the world. China was only able to industrialize by offering insanely cheap labor to American corporations and then stealing their intellectual property.
Yes but money will always be power so the wealthiest can corrupt the system as we’ve seen in the last 40 years or so in the West
Sometimes it is that simple.
Although not all forms of socialism are anti-property. Communism is though so pic related is accurate.
>Most people don’t have the ability, luck or inclination
Tough shit. They should still try to make the most of it and not expect others to take care of them
>Getting by in life shd be ok too
True but not at the expense of others and not for freeloaders
reddit spacing is reddit
yeah, public roads, police, fire departments, and all the rest of this "socialism" is making it impossible for me to be even more rich. we need to get rid of all of it so I can have slaves and kill people who dont obey me.
It just hasn't been implemented with the right people.
That's the current line of reasoning.
Lol
The rich have enough political power to the point that they would never let the government stop them from taking advantage of labor in/from the third world, it’s not something you can simply prevent.
Because people don't like getting killed, SURPRISE.
it's because their entire economy was dependent on the price of oil
>they would never let the government stop them from taking advantage of labor in/from the third world
exactly like Jesus intended. What good is all the bribing politicians doing if not to have the government working to make me even more obscenely wealthy. Maybe if you werent so poor you would see why your failure to be rich like me is due to your own shortcomings.
socialism is literally stealing from the rich to make the non-rich less miserable, but they dont deserve it.
Socialism has failed and always will fail due to human nature....If you get rewarded equally whether you work hard, or you slack, most people would choose to not work hard.
Let me explain it this way to the simpletons here....Imagine you are a bartender - you're good at your job, customers know/like you and therefore you make good tips for yourself. Add socialism into that equation - now the bar takes everyones tips, and divides them equally out to everyone, so now the shitty bartender makes just the same amount as the outstanding.....See the conflict, disorder, and overall mediocre work performance that type of system would create?
Because humans care about many different things, not just economics.
The answer is actually women. Imagine a perfect socialist society in which everybody is equal, how could this possibly fail? Women. They rank men relatively instead of absolutely. Meaning that in order to successfully court women it is the biological imperative of the male to destroy socialism. Why is it that it is only pathetic betas that support socialism? They falsely believe that their social status would improve in a society which radically overhauls social class, but the fact is they would remain low status and fail in the same way.
>b-but Based Yusif says sweden, norwary, denmark and germany are successful socialist countries (3:30) youtube.com
>If you get rewarded equally whether you work hard, or you slack, most people would choose to not work hard.
Income-inequality was unironically greater in the Soviet Union than in America during the same period.
eportfolios.macaulay.cuny.edu
The real problem was that no one really cared about the Soviet Union. No one loved it, few even identified with it. And "The West" was far richer and had more stuff.
>Capitalism ends up being theft from the whole of society by the rich though
You think you're actually able to touch the rich under socialism? Are you that naive?
capitalism will fail due to its own nature sooner or later and will force us to invent a system that distributes resources equally and responsibly and limits personal power while maximising freedom
Who is on tape eating facial tissue
Record scratch....
Because people are not perfect
Who is on tape eating the skins of children
Who is on tape eating the foreskins
Such strange behavior. I don’t get it
Really makes me jump right out of my skin
Damn alligator but my hand off
Because rich people are usually rich by virtue of holding onto their money. And socialism necessitates taking this money by force. Which fails because the rich usually have monopolies on force, or the ability to flee the country.
Because every time someone steals an American idea they can't make it work right (China looking at you), and Americans take old ideas and make them better.
So if it'd work anywhere, it'd be America. Also there's too much of a population for this stuff to work, too many mouths to feed, especially when you let any stupid nigger reproduce freely
All political systems are soulless with social cohesion. Capitalism or socialism is irrelevant. Without a racial or ethnocentric culture built on an intelligent genepool, it will fail. There are many places on this planet where the genetic stock is of insufficient quality and as such any and all political or economic systems will become corrupt or fail.
Venezuela could have survived if they had saved much of their oil money during the high price times the way Norway did, and not bet on nationalizing every single industry when shit wasn't working.
Instead they wasted massive sums of money on short term welfare and attempting to influence the elections of their neighbors, the latter which really hurt them in trade.
But it also exposes a central issue with socialisim, and that's the big centralized power of the social welfare state can fuck up in a big way with a retard at the helm.
I dunno. The chinese model looks like it may be a winner.
What are you trying to say Michael
Unironically because of La Cia
I’ll save you from the terror on the screen
I’lI make you see
It’s very simple: Because it is based on the notion that people will continue to produce value, knowing all that value will be confiscated by the state.
I get about a third of my cheque stolen every month, for Trudeau and his cronies to blow on miscellaneous dumb shit that helps nobody. If that number creeps up much higher, I’ll just say fuck it and leech off the system, cuz why bother working to pay for a massive, tyrannical government apparatus.
You can only disinsentivise work so far before everyone just gives up, and the whole economic system comes crashing down.
It didn't. Falling for fake debt/fiat wealth and fake propaganda will end.
Hey leaf. Guess what happens next. I’m so zoned in!!
Venezuela is capitalist, mostly private sector.
Give it some time...
Well, capitalism fails every time too; it's just the governments make slaves of the people instead of collapsing.
>common poverty
That's called average. Poverty you have in capitalism, as opposed to few rich.
Because everyone has to want it.
We are not socialists. We have a lot of social programs and benefits but to be honest we are also in decay as a state and as people. Our leftists and capitalists both drain the people either to benefit the rich or the worst scum.
chinese model doesn't look very nice for the average worker to live in tho. plus its still resource devouring turbo capitalism
somebody has to play banker to a monopoly game where everyone is drunk and nobody really knows how much the other guy has. so the jews call your bluff and produce inflation to feed their needs while imposing the economic status quo upon the hungry at the downturn of the modern millennia thanks to Melania and Michelle's meals on wheel program paid for by the world models of trump pageantry.
>tyrannical government apparatus
>canada
lol
>give absolute power to the state
>be surprised when it doesn't want to give it back
>be surprised when politicians make stupid decisions when they know nothing about what they're making decisions for
>be surprised when state runs country into ruins
>chinese model doesn't look very nice for the average worker to live in tho. plus its still resource devouring turbo capitalism
It is technocratic authoritarian capitalism. There are some environmental concerns that will eventually be addressed(China is investing heavily in alternative-energy).
The conditions in China for workers are far from ideal, but it is likely a temporary transition period. China began to industrialize with no domestic consumption. But they are now beginning to consume what they produce, and they are catching-up to us in terms of technology(largely by ripping us off).
The main problem for China is that their culture isn't made for export like America's is. Chinese culture, and pretty much anything related to the internet, only has a domestic market to sell to.
Where China is going to be forced to change, is when they inevitably try to expand their sphere-of-influence more into the rest of Asia. And selling cheap manufacturing goods can only take you so far.
The only reason the Chinese experiment has been as successful as it is is because it's been propped up by western countries that naively had altruistic intentions for a democratic China and a selfish desire to expand the international consumer base. At this stage in the experiment it's abundantly clear that neither of those two things are going to happen to a satisfactory extent. Once the international community stops giving China so many undeserved concessions is the moment that the Chinese system starts to fall apart completely.
I would also argue that China has only gotten this far in spite of Socialism/Communism, not because of it. Shit like the Great Leap Forward, the Cultural Revolution and Mao's utter fucking retardation in general probably delayed the development of China by decades. Once Xi buying his own propaganda and turns into another Mao is when the flaws with their system become apparent, yet again.
it has to be repeated until it succeeds or the population is reduced back to 10k
US policy as it relates to China really goes back to the 1970's and 1980's. That is when China switched to focus on developing manufacturing for export markets mostly with textiles at that time, then developed into cheap consumer goods, and now into technology.
US foreign policy is mostly aimed at making countries dependent on trade with the United States. The hope was that by making China dependent on trade with the United States we could have influence over their domestic policies.
The United States in those early years was also trying to win the Cold War, and to keep the Chinese communists separate from the Soviet system. And had hoped to pull China more into the Western capitalist system after the fall of the Soviet Union by strengthening trade relations.
But US foreign policy has kind of backfired. China hasn't become nearly as dependent on America as America has become dependent on China. China has a much larger domestic market than the United States, and it isn't only selling to the United States, it is selling to the whole world.
So China has kind of flipped-the-script, and instead of becoming a dependency of the United States, it is aligning itself with Russia, and trying to push American influence out of Asia.
this. china has only got so far selling us our own cheap shit just shittier and cheaper. its no way to live really.
You don't even know the difference between socialism and communism. I hate both, but you are a prime example of american education.
1946 Hungary occupied by Red Army
Oh keep doing that it’s fucking baby shit
unmanaged capitalism is fatally flawed. russia and china know this and are playing the long game
