wow, again, you know of a handful of people that say otherwise. ian smith tried pressuring the NP party to relax segregation laws here, he asked that educated blacks be given voting rights here etc. he, like most anglos around the world (and south africa), saw apartheid as something so impractical and a system completely opposite to rhodesia (where educated blacks could vote, blacks lived with whites, blacks got free education and healthcare etc).

I won't deny the fact that my country helped destroy South Africa and Rhodesia but not all of us were onside with doing that.
The British public was duped into 'anti-racism' like everywhere else in the west but a few with their heads screwed on went against it.
Apartheid was an impracticable system with no longevity, eventually there would have been too many blacks and not enough whites left to keep it running.
The same in Rhodesia.
Whites and blacks need to be kept separate in different nations, where there is two races equal under the law one will invariably seek to dominate and destroy the other.
