kämpfen, siegen oder untergehen!
Its nice but it feels like at the end the kike producer walked in on the set after being gone for a month and realises that all evil nabzis survived so he asks for a plane to kill them all
Without FEMALES! You sexist pig. Look we fixed it to really talk about the true victims of the Uboat war. The roasties on shore.
Yes
>Lt. Werner: They made us all train for this day. "To be fearless and proud and alone. To need no one, just sacrifice. All for the Fatherland." Oh God, all just empty words. It's not the way they said it was, is it? I just want someone to be with. The only thing I feel is afraid.
This is the only movie where I've seen men pushed to the edge of Hell and back, starting with great ambitions only to be encountered with the frailty of the human condition - all that is left is what makes a man. Seriously 10/10.

Are you saying the Nazis were gay?
LMAO
Are there any good Eastern Front movies from the German perspective? Preferably not the overdone Stalingrad.
ALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARM
>This is the only movie where I've seen men pushed to the edge of Hell and back
The Road had that as well. Ivan's Childhood had it with a young boy.
This one is bretty good

Nah there is some subversion in there, none of the crewmemebers are National Socialists and in fact pollute the bowels of their beautiful untersee-boot with filthy anglo songs, the one guy that is political gets snarky looks from the other crew members and is later shown to have stopped caring about NS even though this woul never happen in real life.

Thanks. Americans don't seem to make world war two movies that don't involve Americans.
Cross of Iron
its as close as they could get for a movie.
Dad told me about a German porno called Das Boot where the chick hid an entire fire extinguisher up her snatch. Does it exist?
Was it a green one?
That's "Hüpfelbuben schmieren mit Sauerkraut auf der Alsbergtaler Wiesn und Sonntags gern a moi mit a Mass und ein Feuerlöschgerät"
Greatest war movie ever made, the accuracy is unmatched by any other. They actually commissioned BMW to make a fully functional U-boat for the movie.
Has women. French singer entertaining sub crew before leaving for a patrol. Greatest movie depicting combat, ever. 90% boredom, 10% terror.
so much this.

Make sure you watch Das boot the correct way
Agreed, in German with English subtitles and letterbox format.
I've never seen Das Boot and I'm not that type of guy that can't watch a movie if it doesn't feature explosions every fifth second but Das Boot looks like a really boring movie. Is that true Jow Forums?
Am I wrong? I most likely am.
It's a very suspenseful movie. Lots of stuff happens but the times in between, in a potential coffin, underwater, while war machines are searching for you directly above you is what makes it exciting. Throw in commentary about war and manhood and you have a great film. Watch a copy dubbed in English and avoid subtitles to get most involved.
