My AC never goes above 73, ever, for whatever reason. Electric bill has always been fine.

Meanwhile, in the shittily made office building I work at, there are sometimes temperature swings above 75. Women constantly complaining it is cold and even using blankets. I wish I had worked back in the day when offices were all men. Women should be confined to warm kitchens or hearths only.

I live in an apartment building designed by Jewish Architect. One of it's many flaws is that the through the wall ACs are mounted low in the wall. He also didn't put enough stairs cases and they were forced to add them after the building was mostly built.

The low mounting (it;s about 3 inches above the floor) means I need to set the AC much lower than 78 to get that temperature in the room. I also need to a fan to circulate the air around. All of the apartments in my building have this problem expect for the Base Latino Managers. He moved his up on the wall.

I see there are no Arizona anons here. Running your house at 78 in the summer in anything bigger than an apartment = huge electric bill. My house is set to 83 right now

In the Southeast, we use the AC as much to DRY the air as to cool it. Setting it at AC would be a guarantee of mold and sleeplessness.
