Listen very carefully. I am a scientist that just left the Arctic Sea after a 1 year expedition. I am off for 2 weeks and then return in mid September. I work on measuring the Arctic Sea Ice. As we all know, in about a month, the ice levels will reach their lowest of the year, and then refreeze. However, we have a lot of new problems that is not being reported.
1. Russia influence is massive. Anyone that is around this area sees that Russia will most likely attempt into invade/control all of the Arctic. That is because of the oil reserves. That is why Trump wants Greenland. 2. Plastic everywhere. There is plastic all around the sea water, and in the ice itself. This is extremely dangerous as it will cause the ice to melt faster. 3. The sea ice levels have been melting for the past 10 years. Everyone knows this. But, the ice is expected to be at its lowest level and may soon disappear within a few years, maybe even next. We dont know. 4. If the arctic ice goes, so will mankind. How? Arctic Methane. The ice caps are currently releasing ungodly amounts of methane. The amount of methane under the arctic is about 2 USA's, and if it's released, expect the planet to heat up by 10 degrees within 10-15 years. This creates a positive feedback loop, causing it be even hotter. Guess what? The methane is being released NOW. The last time this much methane was released, 95% of all life went extinct (PEMT). 5. Basically, mankind has been given a death sentence. We have at most 10 years before the big shit hits the fan. They are not reporting this on the news. By 2029, expect shit to hit the fan as crops are unable to grow, lack of water, etc. 2030-2040 total extinction. 6. I return in 2 weeks, then I will take my savings, and build a self-sufficient bunker in Montana. I will move my family there when it is time. I encourage you guys to do the same.
all the old ice is dying. such a sad thing to see. kills me inside to see this. the old ice is dying and is not refreezing like it used to. this leaves nothing but the young ice, which never fully sets in, causing the water to heat up even more. The arctic will be dead very soon.
Yeah, it will destroy everything. But seriously good catch haha. This has a long time-frame, so not much panic I guess this time. But it's the only real happening that's actually happening.
Atmospheric Methane has risen steadily by an average 1.7 ppb per week for the last 3 weeks. At this rate it will surpass 1900ppb before it peaks in November, if indeed it does reach a max at all.
we are so fucked
Sebastian Ward
so why don't we instead make sure we have good air and water purifiers, indoor farming, good ac, ect. Probably will cost just as much as figuring out how to change all of this, nevertheless figuring out how to change this on a global scale and reducing all of our other emissions.
The stupidest people on the planet gleefully use science and technology in their daily lives. The moment any science disagrees with the corporations that control us, they mobilize their propaganda on Fox News to manipulate their dimwitted masses and now those stupid people are against science.
I'm saddened by the insane gullibility of these brain-dead cretins, and I may have my own doubts about how we have modeled climate change. However, I believe we live in an optimal climate - one where we can still grow food, drink fresh water and survive.
The climate is changing. The seas are rising and becoming more acidic. The jet stream and polar vortex are swinging into lower latitudes. Thermohaline (Atlantic conveyor) circulation is slowing. Weather is becoming more erratic and extreme.
If we can impact this acceleration of climate change, if we are contributing to some extent that we can reverse, than we should be doing everything that we possibly can to slow it.
and we have to give credit where its due too--you do have good Larps. enough concern without being hysterical, enough background without getting exposed, enough sciency-shit thrown in. I always appreciate your posts
Gavin Sanchez
Why not harvest the methane and use it? Leave the coal, oil and rare earth metals (solar/wind) in the ground for another 50 years. Problem solved
Joshua Howard
Where would be the best places to settle to prepare for this?
Tyler Phillips
because we still don't have the tech for this. Thats why I'm trying to build a self-sustaining bunker, but its really hard. We still do a lot of the stuff the old fashioned way (crops etc). A few degrees and its over.
200 years of burning shit in a closed biodome will do something. cause and effect. you can't just ignore cause and effect for this one time.
It will refreeze, but if you have read my posts, even the refreezing ain't cutting it anymore. The old ice is melting, and that's game over. All that will refreeze is a thin ice sheet, as it continues to die.
Atmospheric CH4 has been rising steadily and consistently at the rate of 3ppb p/w for the last 6 weeks at 300mb. Not good . The planet is on fire.
Michael Johnson
good i hope it kill you and your faggot ass planet you fucktard

great news. i hope it all goes to hell. 7 billion dead shitskins. amazing.
But we aren't. We've known this would happen, we've been told we must act.
But we aren't, why not? Could it be that human emissions have such a low impact we could stop all emissions and yet have things go exactly as before.
The only actual solution is population reduction and underground cities. They're building them for themselves, not us.
Colton Perry
The ice all melted as recent as1500 years ago. The permafrost in greenland was being farmed by vikings.
Wyatt Adams
But the problem is that we can't change it. We've been doing this for 200 years or so. Pick any date in 1950. Thousands of cars were being driven that date. Rockets, etc. We can't stop anything, it's too late.
There is a website that also lists user comments from farmers. Cant remember the name (just google agriculture crop comments), and youll see what they are saying. Some have been flooded, but most are suffering from extreme drought. It will start in India/Africa/Mexico (shit countries) first. This will cause more immigration that the left/right will use for political gains. Then hit us next. Get guns, be prepared for anything. Start saving water now and building an infrastructure.
Anthony Long
if we package climate change as a conspiracy theory maybe they'll buy it
Josiah Evans
So about that bunker Where exactly in montana will you build that? It’s just because I’m planning one myself and it’d be a shame if we build it at the same spot or sth
Andrew Watson
Is it likely that increasing melting of the ice caps as reported by the mainstream media is actually caused by the plastics and not by meme heat patterns?
Landon Green
Once the ice is gone and water levels rise it'll wash so many shitholes away into the sea. The world will be a better place.

thanks user. I try.
It's extremely hard to capture and measure. The methane on this scale would take trillions in cost to properly manufacture and contain. And no nation wants to spend that money.
Underground. Stay in a first world nation. Around 2030, make sure you are underground by then.
Lol, it's fucking over. in 10 years, rich people will migrate to greenland because that's where you can actually grow food.
Adam Butler
Good.

>We have at most 10 years before the big shit hits the fan.
Don't tease me.
Jayden Howard
Why won't the news report it? They love this shit. Eat it up even. And anything to combat orange man. So why not report on it. They've already whipped up a panic amongst many people.
Xavier Wilson
Do we have any hard figures to back up the scope of the Anthropocene methane release? I've already bunkered up in the EU (since I expect it to remain civilized - thirty-six years of right wing government made it obvious the US was a bad bet)
Ian Fisher
Yeah where? I want to know where I can come and take all your shit.
Landon Peterson
Can we harvest the methane? Sound profitable
Joshua Mitchell
>cost There's the clue. Society as it stands is already too costly to stand on its own feet.
Bro... that's cringe man. You'll get to play irl Fallout without the radiation and double the heat I'm as prepared as I can get for a 19 year old. Have enough weapons and ammo to arm a medium sized militia for months and live in a rural Mormon town.
Brody Sanders
>Arctic Methane. The ice caps are currently releasing ungodly amounts of methane.
what good would a bunker in montana do if there's that much methane released? you'd need your own self contained biosphere with its own oxygen supply, numbnuts.
Cooper Sanders
>we're fucked
Planetary carbon cascade has already been a foregone conclusion for the past 10-15 years. The only reprieve possible is (energy intensive) carbon sequestration. The only currently viable energy sources for this are nuclear (which is carbon positive...), hydro (mostly tapped out), and geothermal (slow to initialize). IOW, were fucked. We could've dealt with this 20-40 years ago, when we first figured it out, but the political will was completely involved with fighting (for and against) the Jewish schemes for the world.
Our best bet, at this point, is still the same plan: a carbon sequestration project on a truly massive scale. It's become a race against time, and it's anyone's guess as to which will win. In the meantime, the Jewish schemes are becoming ever more obvious, which gums up the works.
I'm a scientist and the Clathrate Gun is hokum. That's how I know this is a larp. No one in the scientific community takes that seriously.
Hunter Hughes
I look at a political map, think about the coastal areas going under water, and wonder what the downside is. In other news OP, I'm way ahead of you and got my bunker in Wyoming decades ago. Let it all fucking burn.
Grayson Murphy
thanks user
not this time, it's real.
Yes. We know its India. They and China are about 2/3rd of the problem. USA/Europe is the other half. There is actual plastic in the sea ice itself. It's absolutely shocking.
Cow farts don't do shit. No amount of eating bugs, or changing our ways will do shit at this point. We should have been on a different energy source back in the 50's, that would have stopped this. Left/right are using this to make money, but we are all on a sinking ship and everyone is missing the arctic methane.
Lincoln Foster
Why won't crops be able to grow? Won't just different regions have to be used to grow shit? Climate fags make no sense.
Gavin Jackson
yet here you are

At one time both poles were ice free, the planet will survive.
Luis Allen
That ID is almost perfect
William Butler
so every internal combustion engine intermixes outside air with the exhaust before the catalytic converter and oxidizes the methane, problem solved.
David Williams
Ugh sounds exhausting. I'd rather just fucking kill myself now.
Jaxon Russell
Assuming everything you say is correct. Would there be parts of the planet that have a better chance of survival?
methane breaks down too quickly in the earth's atmosphere to be any serious problem

Post proofs or it didn't happen and you're nothing but a liberal shill trying to scare the goy into voting demonrat.

Bacteria of course. But modern humans? Maybe a few underground settlements, the ones that can be self-sufficient. That's the key. If you can filter your own water, generate your own power, and food, you are set. 95% of all human life will go extinct. You can read all of this on a well-documented science blog. This blog is an anonymous blog for arctic scientists to post under. They post under one name (Sam Carana) and they tell the truth of what's really going on. None of this is being reported because it's too scary.
The Rothschilds will fix it. They love their money, fucking children and ruling over humanity too much to let everyone die off.

I take random doomsday prophecies from anonymous posters on Jow Forums very seriously. So i’m going to take my $2,245.15 I have saved up and make the best doomsday bunker I can in Montana. It will probably be made mostly of cardboard but fuck it this guy said so!
Colton Lewis
This old ice isn't a milllion years old, cuck. We're not entering an ice age, far from it.
Ethan Young
It would make any apocalyptic movie tame. It would resemble Mad Max (with the drought) with a little Fallout 4 without the radiation. But again, try to stay underground.
Yeah, we are aware of this. Everyone is trying to make as much money as they can before Earth collapses. That's why they built underground bunkers. And I'm building one ASAP.
Hehe. First, you will see millions of immigrants. If a country is smart, they would start shooting on sight. But they aren't, and that will collapse all nations. Then the nation itself will collapse due to heat/dry crops. Left/right is trying to make money on something they think is a joke. Both have no idea how serious this is and how close we are all. It's not 100 years away, it's more like 10.
Benjamin Howard

>The ice caps are currently releasing ungodly amounts of methane. The amount of methane under the arctic is about 2 USA's, and if it's released, expect the planet to heat up by 10 degrees within 10-15 years.
You are such a waste of tax payers money. Complete utter fucking pseudo-science. The planet wouldn't even heat up 1°.
Also HOW DO YOU FAGGOT NOT EVEN KNOW HOW TO MAKE A ° SIGN ?? Didn't you just spent a whole fucking year observing temperatures? you are either a larper or complete waste of tax payers money.
You are likely just some histrionic student or junior researcher who lacks the self-awareness to see your own blind spots.

Why be so pessimistic?
I say we're headed to a lush, steamy jungle world, full of megafauna and megaflora and weird forgotten temples and ancient relics and crazy ass cults and probably transdimensional space travel it'll basically be like 1930s strange fiction like Robert E Howard or Clark Ashton Smith.
Brayden Hughes
Thank God it's not man made! Kill yourself you faggot larper.
Hunter Long
he's just shilling his shitty gun, clathrate gun is not real, he hasn't even seen the arctic.
Lincoln Brooks
Heh, that is a secret. It may not be Montana. But definitely around that area. And underground. It's the only way.
We definitely know that the plastic is making it 10x worse. But it's definitely CO2. At this point, it's everything piling up at once.
Sea levels will rise while also causing extreme drought/extreme hurricanes etc. The warm water will make it hurricane season every month. Crops will definitely be gone. Simply google any drought in india, africa, mexico, USA, and see how everyone is basically starving right now and no one has any idea lol. Earth is dying right now.

>molten potassium cavitation sonofusion The only VIABLE energy sources. Those that qualify are large scale, readily accessible/distributable, and demonstrable to the world's NPC's and zombies that hold onto their belief systems for dear life.
