Fact of the matter is danes have lower debt per capita than USA, much much much lower to put it mildly, lower unemployment per capita, lower people on welfare per capita. (usa has 1/3rd of its population on government means tested assistance), USA has 21 trillion in debt which is ridiculously high. And it is not unfair to say that the average american is not fairing very well.
Denmark is also one of 9 nations in the world with AAA rating of government spending, don´t overspend. Like USA does.

USA already has sweetheart deal with USA with greenland and whatever USA has there that is classified or whatever. Where they can do a lot of what they want. Also it opens up for arctic when the snow thaws and something about a treaty that allows access to arctic ressources there.
