Tim Pool is a 90s Democrat through and through, he is a progressive. Like all of his type, he just dislikes the way the New Left acts, he doesn't disagree with their fundamental propositions

He is just uncomfortable with how "extreme" the left has become, and doesn't want to be perceived negatively by simply endorsing them wholesale. He cannot bring himself to accept right-wing values because they are too scary for him, and because his leftist friends would get mad at him.
