>shills pushing the idea that trump is banning guns going into an election year
Bump stock ban was polled and over 90% of NRA members agreed, mirroring the trigger crank issue decades ago.
Sorry shills, you'll have to find an actual real wedge issue to work at.
Jason Johnson
>pretending it's a fallacy when we've gone from accepting gays to forcing children to endure gender reassignment surgery without the consent of both parents in 20 years
No the slippery slope is indeed real
Jackson Ward
Bump stocks were a meme anyway and only a small percentage of firearms owners actually owned one. That being said, it's still gay that they were banned but I never planned on getting one anyway. You don't need a bumpstock to bumpfire a rifle.
Tyler Bell
>and only a small percentage of firearms owners actually owned one
I discarded everything else you posted and read no farther then this, because this simple reason is why they were sacrificed nothing else.
Cooper Cox
Boot laces>Bumpstocks
Parker Reed
The idea with slippery slope is that any small change is a step closer towards radicalism. Legalize gay marriage? You’re one step closer to state-enforced homosexuality. Ban gay propaganda? You’re one step closer to executing gay people. That’s why the slippery slope is a logical fallacy. It is used to justify maintaining the status quo
Aiden Howard
Wrong, it's real and state-enforced homosexuality is indeed right around the corner.
It was an entirely symbolic gesture of course.
William Myers
i was going to vote for him regardless. all democrat retards can get fucked and die of aids in hell.
Nathaniel Smith
It's interesting how quickly things calmed down after El Paso. After Parkland we were talking about gun rights/control for a whole 3-4 months after.
Luke Green
Gabriel Robinson
In case you haven't noticed we're already at C or D in terms of the gay agenda, brainlet.
Easton Young
Well, I'm paying attention now at the very least.
Xavier Russell
Kinda looks like the 2016 exit polls. Kewl.
Parker Cox
Logical fallacies should apply to arguments, not the evaluation of human behavior. People do illogical shit all the time.
Jason Long
Christian Allen
Almost every extreme political measure arrives as a result of smaller measures so it is completely dependent on context. It is similarly used in the context of marijuana being a "gateway" drug, which may not be true in every instance but it is certainly true that almost all junkies and crackheads have tried marijuana first. So it is Infact true that never compromising your principles will ensure that a modest compromise won't lead to a drastic one.
Jordan Hernandez
Trump is cucking on Guns.
The Jews told him he just has to sit by while States take away 2nd Amend piece-meal for 95% of population.
Trump could instantly PARDON anyone convicted of Fed gun charges on case by case basis.
Christopher Martin
He already banned bumpstocks.
Why are you retards buying this shit?
hes just doing it for the election
Charles Mitchell
>Bump stocks were a meme anyway
So is the bigly and yuge wall
Eli Cruz
State enforced gender surgery is not quite different
Dominic Ward
And it show who the real Liars and monsters are ?
Asher Parker
I hope it's more than just talk this time.
Landon Bell
WRONG
Jack Jenkins
America Invicta. Barbarians btfo.
Easton Stewart
I wonder why there was more effort put into banning bumpstocks than there was finding the motive of the Vegas shooter.
Isaiah Taylor
My favorite part is you point out one extremely biased poll with no aggregate to give a general overall idea.
Luke Rivera
Bumpstocks can be made in five minutes. Why do you think the NRA doesn’t give a shit about them being banned?
Aaron Wright
>20 years
It's been less than 5 years since oberfell
Jose Baker
And atf will be on you ass within 5 minutes of using them.
Jason Collins
Yeah, let's see you get that "spread" in any actual casino where they have to book the bets against you. Nobody is going to get good odds against Trump.
Nathan King
Wow Trump is so based!!! let me grab my AR-15 with my bump stock real qui-...
oh
Isaiah Richardson
You can literally recreate the bump stock effect with a practiced motion and your belt loop.
Asher Lewis
Wew lad that thought makes me sleepy.

lol ok faggot.
Brayden Edwards
Im well aware of this.
People are in jail because rifles have accidentally misfired.
Xavier Wilson
Gays were no big deal by the mid-90's at the latest.
Adrian Perry
He understands how news cycles work. Tell what the media wants to hear for a week, create diversions, and move along.
Bentley Kelly
>bumpstocks were banned
Protip: Nothing can be banned that can be easily and efficiently made in a garage with minimal tools or skill.
Henry Diaz
It's not actually a fallacy. College Professors say it is a fallacy to indoctrinate people
Nolan Cook
That's why every SKS user should install an Uncle Buck's firing pin return spring, it prevents this. Ironically the SKS was supposed to have one but they left them out of the final design (even though the firing pin well and firing pin are both shaped to accept one) because commies couldn't spare the spring steel at the time.
Nolan Sanders
It's called subversion or "the long match" and it does work as long as there are people directing it to an end goal. Just look at our fucking monetary system since 1914 for an example of it.
Grayson Barnes
*oh and it also counts as a compliance part if you want to rice your sks
but don't rice your sks
Kayden Kelly
Thats like the application of Occams Razor as a 'solution to fallacy'. Occam's Razor only applies to practical problems such as when testing a hypothesis. But instead it is used as a way to defuse any accusations as being needlessly complex.
Samuel Johnson
>Uncle Buck's firing pin return spring
what a weird name. Is that a particular brand your shilling or are they unironically called this?
Thanks for the info, that stuff is nice to know.
Gabriel White
Watch as Trump goes back on his promise again by attacking gun rights
Aaron Ward
>being this stupid
Daniel Martinez
Based
Adam Powell
You're an idiot
Benjamin White
Now him saying he wont take our guns is his ticket to 2020? what happened to all of his promises?
Owen Green
because the focus wasn't gun control. it was to take eyes off of epstein and the case.
Henry Taylor
Then why did the AK not have fire pin springs, and still not? Same with the AR. They also use free floating firing pins. Free floating firing pins are not inherently more dangerous than spring loaded ones. A stuck firing pin spring thanks to cosmoline hardened in the channel doesn't mean they're all dangerous, you fag
Juan Garcia
>not knowing about commie guns makes someone stupid
gas yourself faggot
Isaac Howard
Beauty is simplicity in economics.
- Adam Smith
Michael Cook
you cant find a motive if you never find the real shooterS
Julian White
Bla bla bla. Presidents dont write laws. States do. If they comply with the Constitution they can be enforced.
Alexander Hernandez
It's a fallacy to believe that if A happens then B will INEVITABLY happen, sure.
But it's not a fallacy to realise that B CANNOT HAPPEN unless A happens first, so if you stop A from happening then B will never happen.
In other words, if you stop your rights being eroded A LITTLE , then they won't be eroded A LOT.
Trust me, look at my flag, I know how it works.
Andrew Allen
BASED BONGISTANI
Joshua Carter
>we'll allow people to marry their parents, their cars, and even monkeys
The fact that all three have happened already shows that he wasn't wrong.
Gabriel Perez
>slippery slope fallacy
>events are unrelated and occur completely at random!
Owen James
You are 100% correct . He said what was going to happen to the SWAMP ?
Joseph Reyes
>trump is literally hitler!
>t. left
>ban the means to resist literally hitler
>t. left
Jacob Rogers
>thinks that logical fallacies pertain to anything outside the confines of a strict debate...
>is a faggot
Joseph King
>warren ahead of biden
biden's the candidate but he will lose, this is interesting though
bernie could win he candidacy and have a shot but the dnc won't let him, they had to rig it last time
he will cuck to biden and give the money to him and no refunds memes will be posted
Brody Richardson
Lewis Carroll made a game which you could use to detect actual fallacies and the slippery slope isn't in it. It's made up postwar pomo garbage.
Michael Miller
It's not even applicable to a debate.
It's only applicable to a pure logical argument of the form x implies y. IF we ban bumpstocks that does not IMPLY that we also ban AR-15's.
Luke Morgan
Yah , He won't take them untill he's re-elected
Zachary Bennett
every fucking time
>Drump is goona take away guns
dosent take away guns
>Drump is gonna start a war
dosent start a war
>drump is a tool for the rich
cuts taxes for the middle class
fuck leftists
Wyatt Taylor
It's not a logical fallacy though
The foot in the door psychological technique used by salesmen around the world involves selling someone a small thing to get their foot in the door, and then selling them a bigger thing once they're in.
That is literally the same process as the slippery slope """fallacy"""
Gee, I wonder why they call the slippery slope a fallacy? Maybe because it's fucking true. Everyone only need look around themselves at how homosexual acceptance is now leading to pedophilia. They got their foot in the door and now they're trying to shove the rest of their bullshit down our throats.
Anthony Richardson
Too late fucktard, fix the damage you did to the NFA or no vote period
Jaxon Gutierrez
gotta define where the "slope" stops to show there is no slippery slope.
cuz shit is accelerating.
Christian Cooper
It wouldnt be such a ruckus if trump didn't play to the leftists emotions all the time. He says the most inane statements that makes you think he's going to follow their lead but then after hot heads cooldown hes back to normal.
Its fucking annoying. I cant take much more of this emotional pandering as he drags us all like dogs on leashes.
Justin Richardson
Wait and see if he vetos the gun bill congress will pass.
Jason Smith
Prepare for more FF mass shootings. There was at least 2 MK ultra shooters this week that broke down, i.e. for some reason didn't go out to shoot people, instead had some mental breakdown.
Maybe deep state is running out of "mass shooters?"
>inb4 source
check the archive.
Owen Watson
Oh I thought it was literal
Cameron Campbell
>inb4source
You rang?
Charles Bell
Biden is so artificially inflated that it's not funny.
Justin Barnes
"Slippery slope" is just the best known version of "the long march" or "salami tactics". It is a quick way of mentally illustrating that the foot must be slammed down.
Cameron Ross
>not for debate
Logical fallacies are essentially a list of ways in which you are not allowed to argue in a debate; you have to show your logic and not resort to "im right because... "
Also -you didnt actually address my point.
Grayson Brown
No, logical fallacies are just what the name implies. They are statements that violate logical structure.
Debates often involve people making logical arguments, but there are also appeals to emotion.
Christian Martinez
Too funny.
I reveal, and the boiler room supers are screaming
SHUT IT DOWN!
Juan Ortiz
It's not even apt for the label "fallacy", even if it was wrong. No more than saying the sky is pink is a fallacy; it's correct or incorrect and subject to scrutiny based on evidence. Nobody is arguing that it's generally true for ALL cases where such a claim is even applicable. Calling it a fallacy is nonsense.
What rightwingers were saying is that fags specifically (as well as some other degenerates) were disingenuous when they claimed to only care about "consensual sex between adults" and were always aiming for more. That's just a claim, it makes no sense to call it a fallacy. A claim that was obviously proven correct.
Hudson Bailey
We are just talking past eachother. Clearly we understand what a LF is, we are just saying it differently.
You cannot win a formal debate using a LF, no?
Again -my only point, minus the sarcasm -was that logical fallacies arent a valid argument against critics of a given piece of legislation. In other words 'slippery slope' or the idea that the government -always- expands beyond what it initially claims it will do, isnt a valid argument -because historical record.
Jaxon Cruz
>In other words 'slippery slope' or the idea that the government -always- expands beyond what it initially claims it will do, isnt a valid argument -because historical record.
There is no law determining a valid argument in regards to what people will accept the government doing. It isn't a valid argument to say "we are only going to outlaw this one thing and you can't say we won't outlaw more in the future because that's just a fallacy." You can't guarantee that they will or won't and nobody should be forced to accept one step just because they claim they won't go further. They already violated the 2nd amendment several times when they were allowed to get away with it and it just became "the norm."
Lincoln Bell
>polls
How can any of you, who were for the 2016 election, look at polls and not think "these are utterly fucking useless"?
Ryan Russell
When will this faggot reopen importation of AK's and ammo from eastern europe and china then?
Still waiting for a chance to buy a fuckin norinko AK, or more shipments of bulgarian parts kits.
Do something then you israeli kike puppet.
Brody Reed
this. Also national reciprocity.
Trump wants to win in a landslide, guarantee national reciprocity.
Austin Anderson
what if we live in a state where our rights are gone already?
Jaxson Smith
This image is so unoriginal. Get a new joke lmao
Brayden Wilson
Which he never will, because not one person in his cabnet udnerstands knows about or cares about any of our gun rights that were taken away during previous administrations, or even during his with the ATF being able to ban whatever they felt like that day.
Just a fuckin goon looking for easy votes by retarded fake righters.
I hate this shit.
Anthony Gonzalez
Yep
They always say it won't lead to more restrictions, but guess what? It always has
Jaxson Powell
Not a fallacy when the data plots the course.
Owen Torres
A slippery slope can be demonstrated and is therefore not a logical fallacy. In law, precedence is set and decisions are made based on examples of similar cases and decisions in the past.
For you to argue that a slippery slope is a fallacy is not only ignorant but ignores the judicial system in it's entirety.
When a judge hands out a sentence, he does so first as a punishment but also for the protection of the public because he is aware that a person who offends is likely to offend again. In fact it is well documented that a person's first felony is in fact a very slippery slope which can be demonstrated with facts and recidivism rates.
>The 401,288 state prisoners released in 2005 had 1,994,000 arrests during the 9-year period, an average of 5 arrests per released prisoner. Sixty percent of these arrests occurred during years 4 through 9.
And so it this case, the prosecutor uses inadvertently uses a slippery slope argument to appeal for a higher sentence.
You saying that a slippery slope is a fallacy is equivalent to saying that patterns don't exist or that a series of events can't be interdependent on one another.
Your belief that because a slippery slope on it's own as an argument and not as simply a basis for a perfectly logical argument is what is a fallacy.
Nicholas Hall
Not in alaska.
We still sell real ones.
David Kelly
All of you faggots who think trump is on your side ---- fuck it. Never mind, have at it.
Gavin Cook
*Can on it's own be used as
James Bell
>The same NRA that supported the NFA and automatic weapons bans
Brandon Carter
>For you to argue that a slippery slope is a fallacy
Show me where I did that, cupcake...
Ill wait.
Jace Morris
Or you can just convert it to fire open bolt when boogaloo begins, although really you would be better served with an integrally suppressed Sten or luty.
