Look at the history of politics. You need media backing these days which is centralized by a very few mother corporations. (don't think just one nation but worldwide. these corporations buy out smaller and increasingly influential media outlets that grow)
Point is, you will not have their support. You do not have the funds to lobby using their pipelines nor their support.
So you will have to make your own independent media beforehand which is difficult with the saturation of that market. During which you will have to deflect buyout offers, avoid stock IPO for starting funds AND the forming of shareholders if seeking angel investors.

I'm going to give you some very practical advice, it won't be easy and it sounds shallow but it will help you immensely.

Do everything you can to be as physically attractive as possible. If you're fat, work out everyday until the bitch tits are replaced by a barrel chest. Dress well. Always make sure your hygiene is impeccable.

I'm a pretty handsome dude, so I get away with sometimes letting my stubble grow out, wearing overly casual clothes in a trendy way, and letting my hair get on the longer/unkempt side. Don't be that guy. Even if you are fugly, be the guy who is super put together. People WILL have more respect for you. You will notice. You will start to gain confidence. I'm not saying this will fix your brain condition by any means, but it will definitely improve your everyday relations with people and give you a confidence boost to help you deal with other issues. You have to work with what you got for now.
