Honestly I did not pay much attention to what the (((bankers))) were doing because I was always taught to avoid them as much as possible, avoid credit like the plague and I was working too hard saving my own ass and hopefully securing a future for my children to have known. Well that's a ballpark figure, give or take 10-20K. And the youngest (the smartest) only did two years at community college so that's where I factor in truck and tools to start business, maybe $30K on him, cars, book, cell phones and shit like that included. Funny, that one insists on giving me $250 a month which I am not gonna lie, is right respectful of him. Oldest son I think I put out about $50K and himself about the same. DESU, it was the girls who were most expensive. Oldest daughter got a liberal arts degree and then went back for nursing. I invested about $40 K for her BA and she paid her own way through nursing school. But the wedding. Sheesh. Youngest daughter probably $60K when all was said and done, with again similar arrangements and again about $60K on her part. She's a math teacher and her wedding was much cheaper, I helped maybe $7K, with her and her groom and his parents covering the rest. So all in all I don't have the precise calculations. I just know we all did our part to the best of our ability, with God's help, of course.
