Ok, so the amazon produces 1/5 of the oxygen in the world, so you probably think "whats the big deal, we have the remainder 4/5s. But thats not how it works, theres a certain balance, all of the oxygen consumed is equal to all of the oxygen produced. If 1/5 of the animals in the world dont die with the amazon then oxygen levels will start to drop.. .fast
this is literally basic math end of the world scenario were talking about
and these niggers are doing it for what? for profit that wont last a generation cause well all be dead?
i think america is justified in invading brasil and putting a stop to this madness. You could be perceived as the good guys of the world like after WW2. And yes, obviously youd take those natural resources for youo, but you wouldnt fucking do the mess this fucks are doing.
Wouldn't it only start to really affect the area around the amazon? Like, if the amazon vanished tomorrow, everywhere around that place would face the lack of oxygen first. As in, 1/5 the animals will die from suffocation before the issue really even affects me.
Christopher Sanchez
Rain forest soil isn't even good for farming. wildmadagascar.org/overview/rainforests2.html In fact, it's the shittiest idea to try and burn down a rainforest for FARM LAND. Move somewhere you can find sustainable soil.
Asher Morgan
FUCK WE'RE ALL DEAD
Logan Miller
So the war would be to kill 1/5th of the population right?
Ryan Smith
what is algae?
Asher Lewis
Down here our oxygen comes from local forests and sunlight/ocean that surrounds us. Fuck the Amazon.
Carson Nguyen
the amazon produces 1/5 of the oxygen produced by all trees in the world you fucking retard
the oceans produce 90%+ of atmospheric oxygen
Asher Bailey
Just make a pan American empire and then add the anglosphere nations.
Brayden Ramirez
No, the whole atmosphere gets thorougly mixed up constantly by winds. The air molecules in your outh right now were in an australian dudes anus yesterday.
If you could do it instantly like thanos then yes, but the only even remotely feasible way to do that would be an amount of nukes os big it would create a problem of its own.
Remember its 1/5 of all animals, water and land based.
>theres a certain balance, all of the oxygen consumed is equal to all of the oxygen produced. At a given instant, can but the atmosphere is a massive reservoir, and the amount of oxygen a breath takes in is based on how much oxygen is in the atmosphere. If we lose a full 1/5th of the planet's oxygen production, the atmospheric oxygen will dilute, moving to having a 5th less of the oxygen in it. That's pretty bad, but we can grow new plants, so it'd never actually get that bad.
Jayden Lopez
Amazon doesn't produce shit, it's about preventing desertification. I'm in for a genocide of golems and jews in Minecraft.
Austin Robinson
Lol we can easily artificially produce that much 02 anyway. US/Europe/China can make it and pump it into the atmosphere.
Lincoln Hernandez
>time to hoard oxygen we can get oxygen generators btw, it just takes a lot of energy.
Hudson Roberts
Just don't literally kill the world, give us sustenance and netflix and well be your happy slaves
James Bailey
The jews already did that
Brandon Bailey
at current rate all of the oxygen production in one month, equals all of the oxygen consumption in one month.
lose one fifth production capacity and you have a 1/5 deficit. you lose 1/5 per month. after half is gone concentration is too low to breathe. Dont bother coming back astronauts
Jaxon Gomez
Fuck off you fucking pussy. CO2 is good for plants.
Austin Walker
>Wouldn't it only start to really affect the area around the amazon? nop, because the winds is constantly transfer the air from one part of the earth to another, it would not affect the area in particular, but the whole globe as a whole
Cooper Peterson
ya but people are retarded and politicians dont ever listen to scientists
Charles Parker
>produces 1/5 of the oxygen in the world Retard argie that doesn't know the oxygen produced in the world is by blue algae. grist.org/article/lungs-no-longer/ “It’s not the lungs of the world,” said Daniel "Nepstad, an American ecologist who has studied the Amazon for 20 years. “It’s probably burning up more oxygen now than it’s producing.” No wonder your country is going to shit and Brazil is rising again.
Aaron Diaz
Brown people can do no wrong. This is actually all my fault. I better started on that video game backlog.
>amazon produces 1/5 of the oxygen in the world That was debunked decades ago. Most of the planet's oxygen is produced by algae inthe oceans. All of the rainforests could burn and we wouldn't even notice it. We should still protect it though, but it's also likely that he brazilian elites wanted to burn it to gain land.
Jacob Myers
we just need more green policies after we remove the forests.. dont worry goy, it will cost only "slightly" more for you
Eli Taylor
Yep, people need to stfu and mind their own fucking business. If the USA cares so much, burn down California and plant trees.
Isaac Price
Yep, I see NPCs are sharing donation links to World Wildlife Fund... this is a money laundering opportunity for (((them)))
Henry Cook
>at current rate all of the oxygen production in one month, equals all of the oxygen consumption in one month First, as I said, there's additional oxygen sitting in the atmosphere. Second, as oxygen decreases, the rate of oxygen consumption also decreases, because there's less oxygen to take in with a single breath.
Lincoln Baker
>burn down California We do that every year
Asher Hughes
The entire fucking thing.
Wyatt Fisher
Southamerica has top tier fertilizers and they are cheap
Luke Taylor
Welcome to Capitalism, bucko.
Oliver Martinez
No. Wrong. Fuck off, doomfaggot. There's enough oxygen in the atmosphere to lasts for hundreds of years at the current rate of consumption in the event that ALL the plant life dies. But if you're that worried about the Amazon, go take a piss on the fire. Maybe throw yourself on it. The blood in your body should be able to delay it for a nanosecond before its converted to fuel.
Charles Miller
Recent LIDAR imaging has revealed hundreds, if not thousands of previously unknown ancient cities and structures. Many secrets are hidden there (just like Greenland where the ice is melting). Secrets that are at odds with written history and the world religions. The secrets must be found and hidden away or destroyed.
Colton Kelly
high iq
Josiah Taylor
No my brother there will be no slavery Argentina will be yet another state in the union
Joshua Gonzalez
So? It's their fucking oxygen! Don't be such a leech, plant your own fucking trees.
Brandon Kelly
Good. Destabilizing secrets shouldn't be revealed. Lock them away in the Vatican or destroy them, I don't care.
Josiah Wright
the state of this fucking website
William Cruz
Wow, I had no idea basic math was so utterly retarded
Elijah Perez
That's how you create the brown golem race jews have wanted for thousands of years
Jaxson Martin
It wont grow trees without the infrastructure.
Alexander Reed
/thread OP, fuck off.
Isaiah Green
You’re not wrong about the Amazon. And you’re not wrong about having to drop the population down. But there is still some time. About 10 years before critical disaster strikes. But the question is now how much excess air do we have if we were to lose it ALL (which won’t happen). To be frank, this just means the max capacity we can have on earth has shrunk, but we still haven’t hit that capacity for air breathing creatures. At least in that field.
What’s REALLY going to limit how many people we can have on earth is temperature inhabitable regions once they declare we can’t use air conditioning any more. Can people really survive in Scottsdale Arizona without AC? Maybe some. Will people want to live there? No way. Not with kids.
Not to mention if temperature were to increase 10 degrees in 10 years, then all of Africa would migrate into Europe. Most of India out into Far East areas. That alone would case massive population clashes and destabilize the world governance. Something like that happen may overwhelm food logistics and cause authoritarian government take over. If there’s Ebola infected people being crammed into already dense European cities, everyone is screw becuase it will cause people to turn on one another. No doubt, if this scenario happens, there would be a massive population decline.
But the air is less worrying in the immediate because we haven’t quite hit capacity. 9 billion people. Even if losing the rain forest means 20% drop in carrying capacity, that would turn out to be about a 1.8 billion drop from 9 billion (assuming that is our max capacity as it is now). So 7.2 billion max pop if ALL the Amazon is wiped out. We’re almost at that now. Africa and India have to stop having birth rates at 6 and follow Europe having 2 or less. Not likely to happen without intervention and much resistance from them though.
Nathaniel Lopez
Source on that autism?
Nicholas Gonzalez
Liberals and leftists are vegetarians!
They cut down rainforest to farm on then move once the soil is sucked of nutrients!
You can only farm on rainforest land once. It isnt like a meadow or a pasture.
Eat meat to save the planet! Stop buying (((produce))) its killing our earth!
Kayden Barnes
The Nepalese will win this.
Zachary Thomas
>not being our equal in a glorious campaign of burgers and kid-sized assault rifles your thinking is narrow, brother.
Christian Phillips
What's your thought on the more than 30% increase of animals on Earth the last 8 years while plants have not increased?
Elijah Lopez
Invade us america senpai the only way for me to get a gun an do a hero is if they conscript me
>Global concentration drops 2% >Consumption also drops 2%
>We've always been consuming the absolute maximum >Ignore animal population growth the last entire history
Eli Mitchell
The head of a statistics institute released dishonest deforestation stats to make the government lose face and bargaining power when making economic partnership agreements with the US and Europe. The stats showed that the deforestation rate had increased by 80%, but it was because the software was counting deforested areas twice.
Because of that, Denmark stopped giving money for the Amazon protection fund, most of that money was going to scam organizations. When these scam orgs saw the money had dried up, they started making fires in the Amazon.
>we can't make as much money as we want so instead we will burn it down so nobody can make money off of it ?????????? How do brainlettes like this even exist
How about you stop wasting time caring about fake media outrage about fires that happen every so often in the amazon and actually fix your shitty country instead of just turning to Venezuela?
Jack Walker
If you live near the cost your fine. The ocean produces more than half of all the worlds oxygen and what's happening in the Amazon is being blown way out of proportion
Robert Anderson
Ah, good thing the Pacific is receiving massive fortification with the world's most power vitamin, Plutonium. That should supercharge it's oxygen production. The effects are already apparent, with all the oxygen-depleting ocean life washing up along the shorelines. Hurray!
You couldn't defeat a bunch of gook farmers using shit on a stick as their weapon of choice and primitive booby traps so good luck with that endeavour, plus you need Israel's permission first
Bentley Hernandez
>subversive argie trying to stir up shit against its lat am rival
Southern BRs > any Argie cunt I've ever met. Argentina is the worst of the South American countries because you actually think you're white unironically and are arrogant about it, die "boludo" faggot.
Jaxon Sanchez
>Amazon is burning >All photos of which are years old
Maybe this is an example of the msm being used to transmit messages? We've seen it before... Maybe Amazon is burning and not The Amazon?
Hunter James
Most co2 is converted to o2 by the oceans phytoplankton. Try again.
David Bailey
Dear America,
There is NO oil in Amazon. Our biggest oil reserves are offshore. Amazon doesn't even have shale oil/gas reserves.
Regards,
Hue.
Owen Brooks
Also, our niobim reserves are located in Minas Gerais and Goiás states, not in Amazon.
Gabriel Nguyen
GO AMERICA BRING BACK OUR AMAZONIA FROM THOSE ZILIAN TERRORISTS
THEY ARE USING THE AMAZONAS AS A WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION
Juan Wright
most oxygen is made by cyanobacteria. oxygen isnt the problem. the release of co2 is
Elijah Bell
The amazon doesn't actually produce any net oxygen. It produces a lot of oxygen, but it consumes more oxygen than it produces.
Robert Martinez
bruh, if you burned down the rainforest you'd probably doom a bunch of a non-whites
