We forced Hitler to sign a non-aggression pact with Stalin after we guaranteed Poland and we forced Hitler to give Stalin 2/3rds of Poland after we declared war and refused to negotiate. The non-aggression pact was ratified the day after Poland cut off all comms with Germany. It was ratified the day before the invasion.

You cannot build up a navy out of nothing. Advanced homing torpedoes would have, however, made a huge difference.
Planes are good, but tanks were more necessary. On the Eastern front, Germany had air supremacy until 1943/44, and still couldn’t convert.
The nuclear bomb was a huge multi year engineering effort with tens of thousands of centrifuges and many reactors breeding plutonium. There wasn’t the time or resources.
North Africa was actually the key. Of Germany had focused on Africa, it could have gotten Spain into the war, destroyed Gibraltar, probably taken Egypt easily and got to the Middle East, then cut off the Soviet Union from the South.
By 1942, Germany had basically lost. America got relevant in late 1943 in Europe, when Russia had destroyed the Wehrmacht in the East. Also, America was openly supporting Britain, so the declaration of war was more a nonsense that didn’t change shit.

So Hitler invaded Poland simply because they refused to give in to his demands, or was it motivated by hatred for the Poles? I'm surprised he was willing to make a deal with the soviets, whom he despised, to split Poland in two. In school, we were basically told that Hitler invaded for imperialistic reasons and also due to hatred for "non-aryans"...while also making a deal with non-aryans. This part of the war was never properly explained to me.

Poland refused to hand over the corridor (minus Gdynia) and sign the pact against Bolshevism. Hitler wanted to strike the Soviet Union before they could invade Europe again. If Poland wouldn't agree to these two points, war was inevitable. The Anglo-Americans knew this and exploited it.
