Here is what boomers benefited from that we do not benefit from today:

Colleges are in trouble. I worked in one and you can see that as the years go on, less and less people donate to them because no one has a favorable time in college anymore. I had 80 year old ladies donating their entire estates to the college I work for but modern graduates do not give a fuck at all. This will hurt them in the end I don't know if it will be catastrophic though. I also sat in meetings where they discussed pushing for international students more because they can charge them more.
