What's a based career choice? I'm 24 with a degree in basket weaving. How am I supposed to turn this around?
What's a based career choice? I'm 24 with a degree in basket weaving. How am I supposed to turn this around?
Bleach your anus.
Weave those damn baskets and shut the fuck up.
Get big, be firefighter, slay puss, have bros.
We all gonna make it.
What makes you think that you were supposed to get a high paying job with a basket weaving degree?
Turn it around?!
Bro, when I got my Physics degree I found out that a BS in physics will not only not get you a a job in physics, it won't even get you a job. So, I "turned it around" by paying for a BSEE on my own dime.
how about no?
>BSEE
what's that?
It's when you bleach your anus.
I'm getting into life insurance. It's less than $200 to take an online course and take a test to get licensed in my state. Sell whole life/final expense insurance. Everyone needs it.
BS Electrical Engineering.
.
If you're good at writing and communicating just fake your experience level and you'll be fine
Good luck. It's hard as fuck to sell life insurance.
>Everyone needs it.
No they don't. Why would a single man or a man with a working wife need life insurance? Not at all. Maybe if you have children.
As for the savings aspect of it, the stock market is better.
and apply for what?
niggerology
No its not. You can pay for a company to set you appointments for $25 per and then you make $500 per policy on average.
Should I try doing this? Thanks for the idea.
How about basket weaving?
Whatever you decided, user - remember to livestream it
Can I get that with a law degree?
You know, suicide is always on the table
You study contained specimens (jail niggers)
>degree in basket weaving
>OPs pic
i keked.
Kek. Ok. The reason they pay so well is because you will only sell one policy a month max,
You sound retarded. If you don't want to make easy money selling something old people need than don't. I know from personal experience. My mom died and had nothing. I had to pay to cremate her. This is shit people need.
Just because they need it doesn't mean you can convince them to buy it
You want the truth, or not?
It's pedodomination studies. Will be a full chapter of anthropology in the future.
???
>degree in basket weaving
What are your standards? You could get a certificate in carpentry in like 20 weeks at a community college and apprentice your way into a career which will always be needed and enables you to start your own buisness down the line if you want. That, or some other trade. If you have the time and money you could get a 2 year diploma in it and move quicker.
Enough.
Honestly I worked for an insurance company for a while and it is a gigantic fucking racket. I mean if you have young children and a mortgage it might be worth it but generally you're better of socking away the money you would pay for a premium in any other account. Term policies are also retarded, I can't tell you how many Boomers I had to deal with mad that their policies expired and they wasted all their money because "I was told term is better because it is cheaper!"
Do you have a law degree? Why are you not an associate or working corporate?
Excellent suggestion.
I'm debating on getting one. It seems to be the only choice I have if I want the money, status, and door into politics/policy writing that I want. I just don't want to incur more debt. That's basically an excuse though...
What trade would you recommend? I'm not trying to get lung cancer or arthritis
Join a commune. Or heck, establish communism so your skill has value. A basket has plenty of utility - laundry, picnics, produce - no doubt you can barter.
>Learn a second language
>Learn to code
>Certify yourself in digital marketing
>Create your own brand
>Sell your skills
>E-beg for money
Ideally you would pick a trade that interests you. Do you really enjoy gardening? Become a landscaper or landscape architect/contractor. Do you like building things out of wood? Become a framer, furniture maker, or designer. Do you enjoy fixing things? Become a mechanic. There are so many different trades, you have to pick the one you will enjoy the most. At least, I would.
sound advice, friend. Thanks
Go to Texas and make 100,000 a year being a lineman for oil you fucking pussy fuck
find a county with an old politician about to die and with no real competition, move there and sell the voters anything they want to hear. voila, first rung on the ladder. then use all the guile, cunning and intelligence that you...
>basket weaving
never mind.
have you thought about the kys?
What are the requirements? I'm an underemployed skinny fat 25 year old, could I walk on? I'm willing to bust my ass.
You will only get lung caner by smoking on the job. As long as you follow safety procedures. I can't say much about arthritis but trades like being a machinist are highly computerised so I imagine that would not be so bad long term.
Carpentry, welding, machining, plumber, electrician, etcetera. These are all pretty cool jobs that are mostly free of onions. I like construction, but if you start looking through other trades there is a lot out these for almost any area of interest. Just make sure that the job has a degree of timelessness to it do that you can't be automated away or find yourself unable to get an apprenticeship. Your degree will actually stands out (a little) on the trade jobscape because it indicates a degree of competency.
lift weights faggot
>thinking BS in physics is sufficient
of course you need an MS or PhD, you need to specialize
>Just because they need it doesn't mean you can convince them to buy it
Presented with the fact that their death will be a hardship on those they care most about, most people will want to buy.
I will stop when you bleach your anus.
you can make more than that but it is not fucking worth it. I work in the oil field, the fat checks look nice from afar but the lifestyle is absolute soul crushing misery. 80-100 hours a week surrounded by spics in 100+ heat while your family passes the months without you
Dont pay for liscensing. Get a job that will pay for it. For one, the in person market is dying and more and more exclusive to established agents with big books. So you need to be liscenced in every state and that shit is fucking expensive. Get an entry level job that will pay for it. You get free liscensing and you get to learn the biz from the back office before you try to be a bigshot.
Yes you niger. Go research and apply to a bunch of companies or go start out in a lineman tech school. You're welcome for changing your life
What the fuck is a lineman
You just have to not be a pussy. It's easy work if you have balls and the mentally of a man before they were betaformed
A man that fits pipe and makes a lot of money for doing man work in building oil fields.
Idk it is pretty cliche for arts students to go this route when they realize their degree is worthless. If you are actually really smart and persuasive go for it but otherwise save your money. You will aldo work 70hrs minimum a week as a lawyer for the rest of your productive life btw if you go that route.
You have no idea what you're talking about. You literally get a license from the state, pay for set appointments and then go in and close the deal.
Onions? I wrote onions.
Is there a word filter on pol?
Military, forester.
Get into high level business-to-business sales. Find a company that provides a product or service to other companies. If you look through job postings, try to find ads that offer to train you. Many companies are willing to do this because it is extremely difficult to find good salesmen. If you can sell, you're already out there killing it.
You will also be immune to automation. People WILL NOT negotiate with machines.
If you can learn to sell, you basically cant be fucked with, because all companies need somebody to sell what they provide. I barely have a highschool education and I make more than anyone I know. I get sweet offers from companies all the time.
Learn to sell bro.
nice cope Pedro. oilfield is shit. also, enjoy getting laid off or a 50% pay cut when oil drops again (which it will)
I always lol at the "oilfield bros" who strut around like hot shit while their wifes cucking them because they're gone half the month
Dude I work for a major life insurance company and I'm telling you your fucking delusional. Selling policies is no were near that lucrative. It's also time consuming and leads are generally low probability. People have really unrealistic expectations of life insurance for one. So not only do you have to close the good sales but you have to sift through tons of fakers.
I'm not saying you should do it. I just want you to have a chance. Its not some free money hustle.
There is! I cannot write $0y
Stop projecting and just do it already faggot
The only thing any of you faggots need to do to instantly make your lives great is to go join an oil field and work your ass for big money. If you have nothing, start of in a man camp sleeping bunk style like basic training. You're welcome fuckers
technically its a high voltage electrician who works on the big power lines/transmission stations, but dumb niggers think it means being a pipeliner
Go to graduate school get MFA and then teach undergrad
I work in a fucking cubical. But don't be faggot, oil field is the number one to go to for any faggot user that posts insecure threads of that should they do with their lives
Uh, idk... why don’t you try, weaving some fucking baskets? Why do you dipshits do this? “Oh I got a degree but I don’t know what to do with my life” why did you even go to school?
I'm working on it.
Thank you
I'm gonna need some red pills on oil first. So far I'm thinking that cars should get 1000 mpg because of the doc Gashole.
How do I start? Lineman tech school?
Sure thing bro. All the insurance agents I work with, which is a lot, have a liscense in every state. It costs like 20 grand to get them all.
Enjoy your free money job. Make sure to come back and laugh at all of us when you are rich soon.
law enforcement, border patrol, military (every job is in the military), working at shipping docks (so you can live near the coast), work on a boat/train (like working up to captain or engineer), go to community college and get a certificate in something so you dont have to waste time on another degree.
As far as office jobs, your degree can probably get you started somewhere in logistics. Like at UPS or FedEX. Get A+, Network+, and learn Linux to get an IT job (with goal of becoming IT manager or analyst)
Or you can just bleach your anus and be a faggot as previously mentioned
That's what I thought. Pole climbing spiked footgear sort of gig.
Go to the oil fields son and fly high like the sky king
>You could get a certificate in carpentry in like 20 weeks at a community college and apprentice your way into a career which will always be needed and enables you to start your own buisness down the line if you want.
Not true, at least here in Texas. I have like 4 years of machine maintenance experience and am not qualified to become and apprentice millwright and I went to apply for carpenter's union and am on a 6 month waiting list for a $12 an hour job that will require me to drive from work sites from one side of DFW to the other.
Trades are a fucking meme.
If you want to make money get a forklift certifications and go work in a 3pl or distribution center. Most of them here in Texas start at $15-$17 (They are every fucking where) an hour and some of them pay incentive. My last job at Penske (which I might go back to) pait $16.75 plus incentive and I was on average bringing on $22-$24 an hour a week (around $1100-1300 after overtime and taxes).
Electrical engineer here.
I'm liking the suggestions from the other anons to become a linesman. Be warned that it is a really dangerous job (shocks and falls) and is very physical. It's one of the last few trades that are almost completely dominated by white men though.
Get a job working towards a license in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical. You'll end up with a job making $70k a year.
no its not, because they'll go out there chasing money like an idiot and end up being in an even worse place mentally when they're sitting there on location for the 13th day straight surrounded by beaners breathing in diesel exhaust and realizing there's no way they can do this shit as a career
find a career where you can be home with your family everyday and that doesn't literally kill you
This. Or if you are willing to go to school for a few years, finance or accounting. secure, good pay. I don't care what the automation memes say, you can automate the basic level data entry-type parts of these jobs, but there is a huge subjectiveness that I don't believe can be automated. Even then, the fields will just adjust to give more specialized services. But you'll have to actually be able to interact with people or you won't be hired.
t. public accountant
Term is better though. They just don't understand what insurance is. Complaining that they "wasted" their money is like complaining they wasted money on car insurance because they never got into a wreck. Whole life is basically just a big scam except for a very small number of people with significant incomes that want to reduce taxes.
Be the best goddamn basket weaver on the face of the planet, make baskets for kings and emperors
Why not teach basket weaving
lineman is one of the worst trades you can pick, it is extremely high risk, the only guys who make money are the ones who work on traveling projects, storm recovery, etc.
if you're going to do a trade, do residential/commercial level electrician, HVAC, plumber, etc. All of those you can be self employed if you desire and dont need to sit on job sites in the middle of nowhere for 75% of the year
I'm pretty sure you can just walk into it if you talk to the right people. It's mostly beaners. So since you're white you are already of more value and will be promoted over the shit skins. You have to want a better life and go do it like your fucking grandfather that moved to your town during the steel boom and worked his balls sweaty every day.
You just take what you want in this life and reject the modern world
I just bought a woven basket for like 60 bucks.
smartcontract.com
You're welcome.
Fuck that stop black pilling anons you pussy fucker. Go to the oil. It's the only fucking boom in our country. Every where you turn your dick there's heating and cooling vans.
>Get a job working towards a license in
>plumbing,
Making $10 an hour for the first two years.
>HVAC,
Making $12 an hour for the first two years.
>or electrical.
Making $13.50 an hour for the first 2 years.
>You'll end up with a job making $70k a year.
After 4 year apprenticeship you'll be making around $45K.
Again, go distribution and 3pl. If it's not enough money or you get tired of doing manual labor the job advances in to trucker helper and trucker.
Wind turbine techs at a big companies like GE can make 80 to 90k a year after like 5 years. 6 figures is entirely possible with overtime and I know a lot of guys that make 6 figures fixing and putting up wind turbines.
Problem is turnover is high because climbing towers sucks and working outside during the summer and winter is brutal. Imagine being in a steel tube for 10 hours with no chance to warm up when it's -20 degrees Fahrenheit and you will have days like that. Conversely it can get up to 130 to 140 degrees farenheit in the summer.
It's brutal back breaking work in the elements but it pays fucking good if you stick with it.
Get s job in the oven industry. Business will be booming soon
You will only be in a worse place mentally if you are a flaming faggot beta male. If you have balls and want money you do oil
Go sling cardboard for Big Brown. They'll pay you $100k a year to toss shit on people's porches and piss off their dogs. Free bennys for the senpai too.
its not a blackpill its the truth. I've spent close to a decade in the patch, the ONLY guys out here who have any semblance of a happy & healthy lives are the white collar roles. Every single guy in the field has marital/family problems, and are destroying their health with the insane hours and general shit lifestyle
The goal is to beat the jew, not slave away in misery away from your family making them rich.
Have you tried getting your CDL? Im currently working as a truck driver in wind farm construction and get paid $22/hr and $100 a day per diem.
You are a fucking idiot.
Im a licensed electrician and in the union. I make over 75k a year and ive been a journeyman for less than 2 yrs.
Ignorant nigger
any trade you'll be making that kind of money after 5 years. you'll also be working ~60+ hours a week to make that kind of money unless you live in a unionized major metro area which is really a moot point because you lose it all back with taxes and COL
Both of you should just fuck already.
Gets.
