No 5,000 PPM is the legal limit for INDOORS. It takes 40,000PPM + to be a serious health risk. Not even in the wildest speculation does CO2 even get to 1,000PPM (which is actually the optimum PPM for life)

Much of their CO2 is actually ours. Many countries have been sending mountains of trash to China until their fairly recent ban on such trash. Our corporations are avoiding environmental regulations by manufacturing their products or materials in China.
Graph also funnily enough says "since 1870" which is interesting since China barely emitted any pollution up until like 1960's when they became the factory of the world.
Compared to many countries it seems that China is at least trying and clearly suffering from both climate change, resource overuse and pollution. Much of their water is polluted making it dangerous to drink, floods and drought killing people and destroying a lot of farmland.
