Limassol is the business city, they build lots of new houses and they have a few skyscarpers.

Paphos is a bit more rundown but looks more "traditional" and lots of nightlife there and old historic buildings. It has more nature and green plants around. cheaper than Limassol.

but more on topic about the thread. I see Cyprus as a how the Ancient Greeks saw Delos under the Roman Empire. A somewhat tax heaven for all Greek businesses and start up companies, great place to start building strong foundations without really leaving the "Greek" way of life.

Limassol is more poshed. Limassol Marina is beautiful at night but I liked the small bars and clubs in Paphos more.
