In light of Epstein I re-watched this film as I believe Pasolini, though he was a broken man who had a death wish and wanted out of this world, similar to Kubrick knew what the elites were up to and wanted to expose it.

Ive read the book...much better. The movie did it justice, but with the Marquis de Sade meticulous nature, it was more about humanity at its most beastial. These 4 elites dont just torture the group of boys, girls, and teenagers, they draw it out from the silly to the murderous over 4 months locked in an isolated castle during the french winter. One guy likes to suck the snot out of girls noses, then later it escalates to coming on childrens faces, then cutting off limbs and tonques with hot irons.
