I have. You can convert to Reformed Judaism, it's basically the more liberal branch. Also, you qualify for pilgrimage to Israel and a pathway to a 2nd passport. I've actually really thought long and hard about it, didn't grow up religious and most of my family here are fucking assholes. You could convert if you are sincere.
In order to really be considered a Jew you must at least convert in a synagogue affiliated with the Orthodox movement.
You need to be questioned by Beit Din (Beth Din) which is a court composed of three Rabbis and you must be immersed into a mikveh. This is after the Beit Din has determined that you have been educated enough on what it means to be a jew.
Jews want more Jews, but they do not seek converts. A Rabbi must refuse you three times maybe more.
They will also suggest you become Ben Noach or a Noahide which you will follow 7 categories of law rather than the full 613 categories of law that a Jew must follow.
Most Jews in the USA are Conservative or Reform movement. This will not count if you wish to immigrate to Israel. The reconstructionist movement, forget about it. Even American Jews won't consider you Jewish.
Conversion is a process that can take a couple of years. There is a lot of information to take in. One does not simply convert to Judaism.

For instsnce, In my country we have two public school boards: atheist and catholic (because of an old treaty with Quebec from colonial times). Our catholic board is flooded with muzzies because its illegal to deny them entry based on religion.

Reform conversion is basically the same as becoming a Catholic. You take a few months of classes with the rabbi and then you're a Jew. Orthodox conversion is a nightmare.
