Read this to gain some understanding of Britain's constitution. Democracy is something the EU has no use for.

Germanbro here. So without the whole
>Brexit good or bad
shit, just on a technical level:
Wasn't one of the main arguments for pulling this through that it was the will of the people? And that Britain values its democracy?

So in order to save this democracy, the guy who was elected PM by unelected party members suspends the council of publically elected officials who were voted into parliament after the referendum.

Does this mean that direct democracy trumps indirect democracy even if the indirect democracy reflects a more recent will of the people?

Again, I would be asking the same thing, if it were the other way around or about a bridge in Newcastle. I'm just curious about the process

Think of Boris how you would the Vice president of America who is indirectly voted in alongside the president.

The people vote on the party they agree with each party has a leader whom speaks on behalf of the party (we don't choose their leader but could pick a party because we like their leader). If something happens to the party leader then the party will choose a new leader, much like how if something happens to the President the Vice President takes his place.

So I would say its Democratic because the people are voting on the party not the leader.

The queen fulfilled her duties. She cannot say no.

Boris has to deliver Brexit to satisfy the people who made him PM.

The referendum was an advisory one, meaning it's outcome is not binding on Parliament.

May it happen. That is what I'd like to see.

Its no more undemocratic than remain backing politicians trying to overturn the will of the people who already had a majority vote to leave in 2016. They just dont like it when the tables are turned.

Nancy Pelosi is third in line.

The basic rule for picking a VP, is to pick your worst political enemy in your party as a running mate.

But you became a rich purple dude with facial hair and can do whatever the fuck you want.

So is Brexit happening or no? Answer me blokes.

Nothing says taking back control of democracy from EU like a unelected prime minister asking an unelected head of state to suspend parliament to avoid democratic representatives from functioning during a critical junction in modern UK political history.

This is about the sovereignty of parliament, not about the power of individual parliamentarians who have spent the past three years trying to reject the results of a popular referendum. They can all burn in hell.

If it weren't happening; Boris wouldn't have to prorogue parliament.

>Imagine having absolutely no identity that you cycle thru them every couple of years

>Prevent them from functioning
>Been three years since the leave vote
You have to be 18yo to post here
