The thing is, social constructionism isn't really wrong. Take gender for example, "being male", is a social construct, by which I mean that "what it means to be male in a given society" is a social construct. Since Progressivism accepts an anarchistic, ateological worldview where things just "happen" obviously "being male" ought to mean whatever you want it to because we're all just a bunch of autonomous individuals out here constructing our identity and Beeing Ourselves.
