I remember graham hancock reading this text , he made it out to be a future profecy but now that I read it directly it actually sounds like the "great cataclysm" or the great flood that is part of the past and is remembered by so many cultures. its a "future profecy" but for an event that already happened, it happened to the original egyptians (and to the atlanteans and/or to the aryans...) its fascinating that the "big flood story" from the biblical tradition comes originally from Sumer texts and is also where the word "aryan" comes from, the stories of giants and titans (goliath) from the bible also comes form Sumer and also from the very early greek mythos... its really fascinating how all this is interrelated one way or another.
