The tunnels beneath the pyramid are interesting, very organically shaped and ergonomic and leading to a massive underground water table. They don't seem squarely, humanly built but look more like something came up out of the aquifier, something aquatic with sonics like a dolphin that could meld stone.
None of the tunnels were designed with humans in mind, you would need gills and a slender snake-shaped body.
