Realistically what should be my timetable for recovery after lifts? I’m almost 40 and if I don’t wait at least 72 hours I injure myself somehow. Elbow and shoulder are real trouble spots. Can I alleviate this somehow? Like a brace or something?

Dont do lifts, do bodyweight training instead and use rings, as they allow shoulders and elbows to rotate. I've tried both and bodyweight is far kinder to my body overall, weights targets individual muscles better but puts a lot of pressure on the joints.

Any advice if I can't improve at anything I attempt? I've spent up to 12 years on some things and it's like an endlessly plateau where I randomly regress frequently to prevent ever moving forwards. The only thing anyone has ever suggested is taking a break, which doesn't work. Ever single thing I try is the same: starts out normal, then plateau. Other people always progress a lot faster.

I like the feeling of fresh cut grass between by toes. Also grass cuts can be used to stop weeds growing in raised beds by denying light to the soil (scatter it around the plants), composting, animal feed and if you leave them in water for a few days the nitrogen from the cuts goes into the water and you have home made plant feed.
