what the fuck? has hollywood been lying to me? why are submarines so shit?
Wasn't that Argentinian sub in the Falklands war sunk by a Bong sub?
Henry Barnes
Hitting something underwater from underwater is harder than hitting something on the surface from underwater. Guess why? Here's a hint, how many dimensions?
Jeremiah Nelson
>It is the only documented instance in the history of naval warfare where one submarine intentionally sank another while both were submerged. You're confusing submarine with submersible boat. U-boats were/are boats. As you were.
the surface is basically a flat plane, thus when shooting a ship in the surface you only have to account for x and y axis'. Below the surface you have to account for z axis as well you fucking moron.
Nicholas Morgan
That was a fucking boat.
David Adams
>U-boat >Unterseeboot >Undersea boat It's a submarine you tard
Kevin Long
This is not up for debate. There are ALWAYS three dimensions.
What do you call a boat that can move DOWN? A submarine. What do you call a boat that can move UP? A seaplane. What do you can a boat that can move in neither direction? A BOAT.
Jason Sanchez
Sauce on that image, my good man?
Jonathan Barnes
Because there haven't been that many wars between powers that both have submarines since WW2.
Liam Davis
>what are artillery trajectories >what is the curvature of the earth
Samuel Young
Try and focus nigger. All submarines ,from their inception to the advent of the nuclear powered submarine are correctly called “submersibles”. This is because they were dual powered. They used diesels for surface propulsion and for recharging batteries. For submerged operation ,they used batteries and electric motors. WWII subs spent the majority of their time on the surface. That all changed with nuclear power. Nuclear subs are considered true submarines.
>It is the only documented instance in the history of naval warfare where one submarine intentionally sank another while both were submerged.
Intentional? That implies there were accidental sinkings. I don’t know why but that seems kind of funny.
Jaxon Gutierrez
yo that game was so fucking dope
Josiah Cook
what are WAVES
Nolan Jones
Boats sit IN the water not ON the water.
Landon Sanchez
Used to play this all the time
Alexander Long
Surface ships are called such for a reason
Eli Flores
The Belgrano was a cruiser. Used to be the USS Phoenix before you sold it to the argies.
Zachary Ward
Just looked it up. She survived Pearl Harbor lol.
Adrian Kelly
HMS Conqueror.
Charles Allen
Go and jump INTO the lake.
James Taylor
Excellent poast
Nicholas Sanders
Yes, which makes it much easier a a sub to sneak up on them from underwater. You do realize there is a literal term for how much a ship’s hull sits IN the water called the draft? Usually about 30-40% of a fully loaded ship’s hull is IN the water? Do you actually think a surface ship’s entire body is ON the water?
Angel Rogers
Open cloth show bob
Dylan Robinson
>its hard to find something under water when you are under water because of the three dimensions
holy jesus christ you are fucking dumb as a nigger, you should kill yourself as soon as possible before you accidentally spill any of your semen on a woman
