Chicagofag here, Lots of cops in the downtown area to keep up an appearance of safety, requirements for being able to get a license in the US are retardly low, even easier to pay cash for a car and drive it away no questions asked, don't talk to any panhandlers on the street , CTA can get you to most tourist places train infrastructure is pretty based

white south sider here. there's cops everywhere because nogs from a few clustered neighborhoods on the south and west sides love to spread out and commit crime elsewhere from time to time. Otherwise 90% of the crime happens in areas like Englewood and Austin. The north side is a high class, gentrified, mostly white liberal shithole full of bustling wealthy development and endless consumerist utopia. It's a great place to go spend money on food or whatever you're in the market for, but it's just a faggot infested pretentious dreamland in my eyes, full of people playing God on daddy's money.

It's not just getting shot. There's a significant chance of being mistaken for someone trying to buy drugs if you tool around in a trashy neighborhood at night. There's also a real chance of getting robbed by the police. Also, there's enough ghetto fun to look at in light, from a distance.
