Stoicism & epicureanism are both based on pyrrhonism. Stoicism takes pyrrhonism and posits there is virtue and you should cultivate it. Epicureanism posits there is just matter and void, so you're done.
A pyrrhonist would ask each why they think that way, and how/if they can prove it.
