Its not “evil landlords” raising the rent so much as it is a byproduct of fiat currency. Raising minimum wage will have a similar effect country wide, just to a lesser extent. What all these poorfags SHOULD be doing, is asking why they cant live on $7.50/hr, when just a few decades ago they could. The answer is the Federal Reserve printing money to fund perpetual wars, and banks lending money they dont have to earn interest on assets that literally do not exist. If you raise minimum wage, poorfags will just find themselves in the exact same place in a few years.

Wages are low because there are workers that will accept them. There are some reasons why.

1. Gov programs help or provide stimulus for certain groups. Housing, food stamps, cell phones, loans, etc. This gives them the ability to survive on a low wage. The honest hard working people that don't take these benefits are then at a disadvantage.

2. Over supply of laborers. Mass immigration will accomplish this just as feminism did by forcing women into the workforce.

3. Monopolistic control of industries by few organizations. These monsters are fueled by endless debt and the goal is the lowest profit margins possible to enable industry takeover. Walmart, Amazon, etc.
