Sola Fide is an obvious heresy. There is really nothing left to say. Jesus explicitly said men will be judged according to their works.
Samuel Peterson
>men will be judged according to their works. Saved by faith, rewarded by works. You don't have to do any works to be saved but your rewards in Heaven are based on your works.
Nope. Judged by works. You are objectively wrong. Whatever you are, you are not Christian. Christians believe that men are judged by their works.
Lucas Mitchell
Saved by faith, which requires works to not be dead. Also faith can be lost as fast as it is gained. I know that as a FACT. Sola fide is a heresy that angers god
Jason Sanchez
>udged by works For rewards, not salvation
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
No matter how many smug pepes you post it still isn't true. It in fact detracts from your argument as smugness is pride which is a sin. Do you condone pride, user? are one who promotes prideful beliefs
Justin Johnson
Only you are the one without an argument, user.
Brandon Reed
Taken out of context. Men are judged by their works. That is a fact. Your opinion is worth nothing.
Jack Nguyen
>no argument Attacking my pepes is not an argument. It literally says someone who does no work
It's such an obvious heresy and makes no logical sense whatsoever. But proddies feel justified spreading this lie for whatever reason. Sola scriptura is also not in the Bible but hey, don't let that get in the way of your heresies, right?
John the Baptist died before the great commission so I'm not sure what your argument is. And need I not remind you that Jews at the time looked at him as a possible Messiah.
You would understand that those terms aren't merely "slapped together" if you knew what you're talking about. John the Baptist was a priest and he upheld to tradition, he was critical of the Pharisees and the Sadducees because they had corrupted the Law. But he was not "sola scriptura" and there is nothing to indicate such a thing other than projecting your own historical misunderstandings onto him.
Why would that matter? So what if I am? And what if I'm Orthodox? They cling to St. Augustine very tightly over there. And assuming he was wrong about the Jews because apparently a Church Father was simply too dumb to read the Bible and do any sort of exegesis, are you also going to deny the Original Sin which was something that he identified? Have you bothered reading the patristics at all? Much of the theological developments we enjoy to day we owe to these people.
Noah Brown
Because the Great Commission has nothing to do with what was said. John the Baptist obeyed the Scripture by preparing the way, the opposite being the doctrines of men that the current status quo adhered too.
Your reluctance to even say what denomination you are tells me you're a kike, tbqhwyf.
