Europeans need to re-evaluate the relationship with the USA:
No more bending to american will and wishes. Period. Remove US military presence on the continent. They are not a child who needs "daddy USA" to watch over and protect them. They are very capable of handling their own business. REALLY hit back when the USA makes aggressive comments or directly threatens European nations or interests. Hold the USA accountable for its various atrocities and human rights violations. Even to the point of sanctioning them. Amerimutt exceptionalism is not based in reality. Unfortunately people are brainwashed by hollywood movies and fake news.
perhaps the EU (minus the UK since they leave) has a combined military budget of about three times that of Russia, with a number of active soldiers almost equal to Russia (again, excluding the UK) but much better equipped and trained . Russia would be stupid to take military action against the EU. The idea that the EU is defenseless without the United States is ridiculous and anchored in times before the collapse of the Soviet Union, when in reality there was a credible threat to the East. Nor does that mean that Russia is defenseless. It certainly isn't, and everyone would be a fool to attack them. But that doesn't mean they have the ability to run an aggressive campaign against something like the EU, which, in addition to overcoming them in equipment and training, as well as matching (almost) in staff, also more than three times the population, an economy much stronger and a much capable industrial base. So let's leave the alarm
