What are the jewiest/least jewy flicks out recently? I would say stuff like Dragged Across Concrete is 0% jewy. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sounds low-jewy also but I haven't seen it yet.
In the new X-Men (Phoenix), Jennifer Lawrence says some shit about 19 minutes in that since the "women" are always saving the day, maybe they should be renamed the "X-Women". I turned it off right then.

The primary villain was a white woman who stabbed her white husband in the back, kidnapped their white daughter, and betrayed everyone she ever knew because MUH FEELINGS. This is 100% portrayed as being a completely batshit and unforgivable move. She had a redemption equals death moment at the end of the movie where she switches sides to save her daughter, but no one actually forgives her. Throughout the entire film, her betrayed husband is the primary source of morality. Everyone turns to him and the original Japanese kaiju researcher for guidance, and when the Japanese man sacrifices himself to get Godzilla back on his feet, the leadership role falls 100% on the husband.
The secondary villain is King Ghidorah, which is, literally, an invasive species that is destroying the natural order by coming into a place it doesn't belong (earth) from outside (space) and attacking the native population. It is explicitly stated that, if left unchecked, it will completely destroy the place that it is invading (earth), so we have to stop it by either driving it off or, preferably, killing it so it can never come back. If you can't see the implications of this, then you're a moron and I won't waste my time explaining it to you.
And the third antagonistic force are eco-terrorists/eco-fascists, who start the plot by freeing Ghidorah and are the people the white woman was helping. They are protrayed as being primarily British and European, yes, that's true. But they also aren't WRONG. Their basic thesis is that the kaiju should be freed instead of imprisoned, because the world needs them to flourish. They are EXPLICITLY proven RIGHT at the end of the movie. Their only mistake is assuming Ghidorah would help with that process.
Yeah but it was written by one so watcha gonna do. The best way to fight back is to just refuse to give them one penny for their efforts. If you want to see a jewy film anyway then pay to see a non-jewy one at the multiplex and go into the other theatre anyway.
