Well, i learned to code too. It started as a hobby, because i had some projects in mind and i was successfull in learning and later realizing said projects. But i cant imagine doing this full time, because its so nerve-wrecking to sit all day infront of a fucking screen instead of working with my hands, doing some crafting etc. I had many moments when i felt like i am going insane, if i keep staring at a screen and tapping on a keyboard for a few more minutes. To each his own, i guess.

Just to make things clear: In 1-2 months you would be able to build a website from scratch without using templates or premade codes. All you need is a simple text editor, basically. Later I would recommend going indepth into PHP and JavaScript though, because this will give you more options regarding usability and design, also its necessary for security. I think if you learn daily for a couple of hours, you would be able to create professional websites in approx. a year.

I finally paid off my student loans last year and realized that working sucks and benefits everyone else so much more than myself.
