I'm not at all denying government shills. Just that they're a very small percentage of posters. For example, I doubt there were more than 1 or 2 FBI agents posting in that 8 ch thread. I also think US law enforcement probably only posts when there are crime-related things going on. For CIA and foreign intelligence agencies, they may post when there's election and political stuff going on, or encouraging discussion of certain political things, and corporate and campaign shills are probably always posting about all sorts of things.

But considering the huge userbase here, they're a tiny percentage. And I don't think US government people are posting trying to convince people conspiracy theories are fake. If anything, I could see them encouraging people to believe in conspiracy theories about them, or even posting things like "there are a lot of shills today" so that people become more distrustful.

How does it defy logic? The Nazis were extremely efficient and well-organized. A lot of the murder was done by mobile killing squads (Einsatzgruppen, translated to "task forces"), and the rest was done by shipping people into extermination camps and hybrid labor-extermination camps.

If the Nazis can smash through France and take over Paris and install a puppet government as quick as they did, they can use their massive army and bureaucratic power and ideological zealotry to kill a bunch of defenseless civilians. It's possible. Any military today could definitely do that within 5 years. Look how many soldiers died in WWI and WWII, then imagine it was soldier vs. civilian instead of soldier vs. soldier. The question is still being asked because the ideology that drove the Nazis still lives on today, in many places, and of course if the Holocaust had happened in 1880, the Nazis would've said it was fake (while also committing a new one), just as many here say "the Holocaust didn't happen but it should've", or that it didn't happen but one is coming soon.
