A lot of people believe that globalization is the only way to provide enough work for the most people. So you have politicians and regular people voting for more trade agreements and less sovereignty. You wouldn't have to worry about that if 401ks and other investors wasn't the ones helping to outsource every job they decide is no longer valuable in certain countries. You want poor people to have insurance then help them get jobs where they can pay for it. You want rich people to be less rich, then promote mom and pop stores with small business manufacturing. It's a free market they say so use it against them.
