according to boomers, the economy will only grow, forever and ever

no, a major global depression? yes.

And you don't understand economics and the global market? Accountant for what? Sears?

The economy can't expand forever and also a recession always comes before a depression.

>Accountant for what?
A local steel company.

If you think that there will be a recession, there will be a recession.

If you think that there WON'T be a recession, there won't be a recession.

We have people that deal with steel costs. I don't, mainly cost accounting of end products plus financial accounting of sales tax and stuff.

They only buy rolled steel, then it is milled and welded.

Okay, have your end product sales gone up or down recently?

And fuck, I need a new, cheaper steel supplier of 1095 and 80CrV2.

Accounting is pretty brainless job. It's just adding and subtracting, moving the numbers to the right places. Accounting course in school were the easiest thing I've ever done.

We only buy american steel (US Steel), so I'm sure you can get it cheaper. Sales are still high as hell, not going down.

I didn't have to take accounting for my degree or in academy. Never really paid attention to it but I always assumed it was about the same as doing a 1040.

>about the same as doing a 1040
No it isn't, not at all.

All of the 80CrV2 I get comes from Europe so it has spiked in price at my supplier since the tariffs and I cannot locate a US made supply.

I'm just glad I stocked up on it before the tariffs, but I'll eventually need a new supply.
