Nordics are not fully adapted to cold climate actually. Prime adaption is what Eskimos have. Their melanin protects skin from sun exposure through snow deflecting sunlight, short limbs minimize blood flow paths exposure to lower temperature (super important trait) fat layer under eyelid and so on...
