Well to be fair hurricanes are pretty fucking entertaining. After the storm when your whole town is fucked is what sucks. I sat thru Michael, I live less than a mile from the coast. I wouldn't have missed it.

I get what it is. But what's there to stabilize? Seems pretty stable the past 36-48 hours. It's just over land. I know the eye is technically offshore (according to Google Earth) but it's been over land all this time. would this storm being stationary in open water have it degrade this much?
