Automated military

What can anybody do about our overlords after the military is fully automated?

Stairs.

Nothing is ever going to be fully automated. There will always be one man, with an address and a family, behind a screen.

Build our own automatons

the same right back for one, kill those needed to maintain said robots for another, or those who order robots to be used. hell we can disable a bot temporarily, add stuff to it, and let it carry that stuff back home to mommys cunt. total cuntwither.

You think AI can't replace that man?

1$ jammer vs gorillion$ robot

No, it literally can't retard

But what if robots are the ones making and mantaining other robots?

Humans will always be cheaper than robots for a long time. Especially since the state does not "raise" humans for war, they just take them at no cost and put them through training. Most technology is just a meme anyway. Once total war hits, the reality of cost hits. It all comes down to what is cheapest, so using something that is significantly cheaper but is 90% as effective reigns supreme.

Shut up pothead

same.

>Sentient AI that thinks exactly like a human and can make decisions millions of times better/faster than a human can't replace a human

Pull the power cord.
Build a microwave gun. Most don't have sheilding yet.

Attached: iwokeforyou.jpg (1047x662, 106K)

Rubber still burn easily. that maks most things with rubber pron to fire. oops!

Attached: bombisraeltheybomedu.jpg (1047x662, 109K)

The answer is always naplam.

jesus what are your masters planing?

>Build a microwave gun
and then you get sniped by a automated .50 cal turret from 4 miles away

try to get close to it, these drones won't act completely alone they will hunt in packs.
there will be drones flying at 500+ meters looking around for the ones on the ground increasing their field of view.
they detect you quick and automatically send 50 laser guided mortar rounds to your position

you will just burn yourself

Attached: K7P5ulD.jpg (935x728, 95K)

Doesn't exist

that will change in the next 20 years.

planning the dystopia where they can slaughter the other sides peasants by remote control for profit and power.
maybe the leaders are insane

>you will just burn yourself
nu uh

Attached: steals your job.webm (720x404, 1.81M)

it's just a game for them.

We will probably have artificial general intelligence by 2030 or 2035. But I don't know why any entity would ever allow a machine to become sentient in the sense that it could spiral out of control.

Kill the ones controlling them.

watch the iranians will figure out how to hack them and turn them against their owners.
inshallah

thats just a very very early prototype.
in 20 years they will do everything.

>allow a machine to become sentient in the sense that it could spiral out of control.
it won't spiral out of control, the military machines will only know as much as they have to for their mission and they will be focused on that task.
like
>search and destroy in this specific 4x4km area.

then when its done it waits for new instructions.

That sounds excactly like the thinking of a machine to me

A 1 pound bag of diatomaceous earth will wreck that bots day.

Attached: diatoms.jpg (1024x944, 416K)

Then I will become the robot.

I agree. I thought you were arguing for the terminator or skynet.

I do think that warfare is going to be fucking brutal. Just read Raytheons latest yearly publication. They talk about machine learning algorithms that are constantly competing with each other second by second (if not shorter) and adjusting.

yada yada yada more bullshit "dont even try to think about resisting submit or die" boogeyman horseshit. that robot and its own and its operator will all die when they feel safe and secure and never see it coming .

Even in death I still serve.

>autonomous
>operator
???

explain how dirt would not be more effective.

you will remain a mindless consumer drone that plays along with the rules set up by your kike politicians.

yeah its gonna be brutal but very cool at the same time.

>that robot and its own and its operator will all die when they feel safe and secure and never see it coming .
the thing is they see it coming, all your communication will be monitored in less than 10 years, you will be long on a watchlist before you act on any of your retarded plans. and even if you succeed with your suicide mission:
the operator of the robot will be easily replaced by some other goyim and they just order 50 more robots for every one you damage (you pay for it with your taxes btw.)

Attached: mathieu_lamble_01.jpg (1800x595, 347K)

That thing would shatter from an RPG hit

>EMP

You are now posting in a dreadnought thread

Attached: even in death.gif (230x172, 1.33M)

What is a cruise missile but a kamikaze jet without a pilot, and a bigger payload?

Take the door off my microwave.

Attached: Powerfisting.jpg (750x600, 39K)

Automated millitary will be very cool and deadly but will be hard to defeat if the government uses it against its citizens.
youtu.be/n_Ln4itFeDc

>what are EMPs
>what are IEDs

Will never happen. A cellular jammer or EMP turns that thing into a gigantic paperweight.

I am sure we will overcome.

It's called a thermite grenade. You just run up on one of those things and set a thermite grenade on it.

Haxxars to the rescue, beeatch!

What will war even look like if militaries were 100% automated? Just elaborate LARPs with robots?

Save Jon Conner

alright cool. then what's the fucking point of staying alive?
you technology faggots make me so fucking mad

>What can anybody do about our overlords NOW
answer : nothing but OBEY

Attached: they-live_obey.jpg (386x512, 77K)

See: Balkans war radar decoys. An old bathtub and babushka's microwave.
There's no doubt that robots will be used more in warfare over the next few decades, but humans are still a vital component.
Not because we're smart, but because we're dumb.

>literally
retard

>What will war even look like if militaries were 100% automated? Just elaborate LARPs with robots?
It would eventually devolve to setting robots to kill soft targets, like the bombing of towns in ww2 but instead your local town hall has a mass shooting from a foreign squad of r2d2s. War will get more brutal under the guise of limiting human casualties.

Even if it was immobilized, you dont just "run up to" a machine gun turret. It's still a small pillbox and likely has 360 cameras.

Attached: EasyToShutDown.jpg (1200x677, 186K)

It has cameras, huh?

Attached: 91s4f73rnxL._SX425_.jpg (425x425, 40K)

Why are you spamming this retard in every fucking thread? Fuck off faggot.

It becomes easier to topple the government than ever. Once that kind of technology proliferates (and it will) any idiot can use drones to kill anyone they want. Maybe not with a high success rate, but at virtually zero cost to themselves.

The future of terrorism and domestic anti-terrorism overwhelmingly favours the terrorists.

>they put plates around everything
now what?

You are aware that robots can climb stairs, right?

>plates around everything
Wouldn't that reduce it's ability to see around it?
Couldn't someone just sneak up in it's blind spot and tip it over?

Take out the antenna and the cameras.
use GPS and RF jammer

Now it weighs twice as much and still does to a roadside bomb.

More importantly you don’t ever actually see the drone, because you fight the government by cutting power lines in the middle of the desert.

High tech weapons necessarily require high tech infrastructure to function, which is vulnerable. In a civil war scenario all you have to do to bring the state to its knees is break... basically anything.

Cut power. Cut water. Blow up bridges. If they deploy more robots that means they’re spending more money, which is what you want, because they STILL can’t stop you from destroying infrastructure.

If you work for the government, just start wasting money. Set a building on fire. Drone fire-robots? Shoot at them. They send drones to guard the drone robots? Good, they just spent a trillion dollars failing to prevent fires, but limiting their damage slightly.

You keep this up indefinitely. You don’t need any special equipment or communication, you don’t need to be smart. If they catch or kill you, all they’ve done is removed another taxpayer from their own system.

Great thinking Wayne! Thanks for sharing.

Whoops

What are cellphone jammers?

Attached: handheld-3g-4g-all-phone-signal-wifi-jammer-500x500.jpg (354x500, 11K)

Create a time machine go back in time and convince everyone to go gay so there is no future to create robots to take over the world.

>Wouldn't that reduce it's ability to see around it?
tanks have optics too, soldiers are also pretty weak to bullets

they just have to make 4 cameras, aperture less than 1cm each, to give them 360 vision, hook them up to a cpu that treats info (detectts any moving object in the frame) and they have situational awareness, that plus a scope that sees multiple wavelenghs and they re set

>Take out the antenna and the cameras.
the issue is that something like that can likely outsnipe you
you can be hidden sure but still

>use GPS and RF jammer*
yeah but civilians or insurgents dont have that

also what if they re autonomous and ai controlled?

>Now it weighs twice as much and still does to a roadside bomb.
yeah but you can shoot it with rifles anymore
>because you fight the government by cutting power lines in the middle of the desert.
eh??? why would they need powerlines in the middle of the desert? you re just cutting your own supply off
they can bring all the fuel they need, an army ha sthat thing called LOGISTICS

>High tech weapons necessarily require high tech infrastructure to function, which is vulnerable. In a civil war scenario all you have to do to bring the state to its knees is break... basically anything.
disagreed
you can have a civil war and the gov army keeping all their high tech infrastructure

>You keep this up indefinitely.
yeah unless they make pockets out of you lmao
look at the middle east for modern warefare, doesnt exactly last long

Attached: preciougees.png (931x597, 495K)

They will be shielded against EMP (>implying you could even make a powerful one)
and IEDs won't be much of a problem as there is already technology that counters IEDs. like microwave tech that sets the fuzes off.

>what's the fucking point of staying alive?
thats your job to figure out.

>Take out the antenna and the cameras.
with what? your dick?
the moment you come close or open fire other drones will be already firing at you and directing lethal airstrikes at places in which you are likely to retreat. its a suicide mission for you.

>detects a jammer
>at 20k feet a drone plane drops a glide bomb that steers directly into the jamming signal and blows it up with 500kg of explosives

nice plan dude

Attached: 0.png.jpg (500x715, 159K)

We can make robots too.

What happens when I bust out this

This guy gets it

What do you mean? It's lasted 20 years and we've lost. Taliban controls more terrain today then 20 years ago. Iraq is siding with Iran and sanctioning Israel. Insurgencies always win empires always fail.

pic related glides directly into the source of the jamming signal

Attached: cc81448d14a785b96702e12cf08bd24f.jpg (700x297, 39K)

>steers directly into the jamming signal
>being able to triangulate the signal on a battlefield.

Also what happens when I bury it, make it military grade and is able to blanket a massive area?

Also also, they are cheap enough you can make one for like 50 dollars and give them to every foot soldier.

again what if its just ai controlled?

we have good ai now why would they even be controlled by operators?

>Insurgencies always win empires always fail.
nope, you re missing the fact that the kikes who control your government will invest a bit more in saving their own ass than in distabilising the middle east, which was their goal, not conquest, just destruction

You kill an automated vehicle the same way you kill a non-automated one.

>hand them put as standard issue kit.
>place active ones all over the place with no support.
>run jammer networks operated by multiple jammer generators that relay them to remote antennae.

Lol
Legend of the galactic heroes literally predicted this. Jamming will get way better than any sort of comms and render remote access impossible

Do you have stairs in your house?

The insurgents-vs-robot-army scenario is interesting, but what about if two armies of robots go at it?
How does that shake out?

Join the Edgecrusher in his fight against Smasher-Devourer.

>fully automated
Low test, driven mecha is the future and I know the japs have it almost completed underground.

SHOW THE FUCKING GOODS JAPS

Attached: Kurata.jpg (500x661, 79K)

Well you can’t shoot it with a small calumet rifle anymore but it now costs twice as much and is slower and heavier and requires more fuel. Fuel has to be transported... using infrastructure.

We are talking about civil war. The army has logistics because it is funded by the public. Damaging public infrastructure hurts the government. The Army does not have magical machines somewhere that produce food water and gasoline, they buy these things from distributors who use civilian infrastructure to move and process everything.

They also cannot “pocket” you because there is nothing to pocket. You live in a city or a county that countains their supporters. When they kill people, they are killing their own taxpayers. How do they even know who you are? If they did, does it matter if you have already set a water treatment facility on fire, or blocked a highway with a tree and a bunch of tar?

And as for the Middle East—we LOST in the Middle East, and they weren’t able to actually attack American infrastructural assets at all.

You are conflating a foreign occupation with a domestic civil war, these are not the same thing at all. In a civil conflict the “war” is economic. You cut off anything to the civilian sector, you de-facto cost he government money. Anything the government does costs it money and future revenue.

This is why civil wars are so gruesome.

Insurgencies will make use of these same technologies. Starving houthis are taking out saudi power plants with cheap drones today. Kissinger himself has admitted that they have no way of dealing with these things.

>Also what happens when I bury it
it becomes less effective and can't jam anything

>being able to triangulate the signal on a battlefield.
they absolutely can right now and this will only improve in the future, sensors are getting better and better.

>Also also, they are cheap enough you can make one for like 50 dollars and give them to every foot soldier.
nice way to tell the AI where your soldiers are at any given time
>jam signals detected
>send bombs to the locations

they also don't necessarily need to communicate over radio waves, they can also use lasers.

can be easily bombed from above.
won't take long til you run out of jammers.

>$1 million to buy this toy version with no deadly parts or ammo
>company has been dead silent likely completely taken over by the gov to make actual war mechas

Attached: kuratas.jpg (1000x555, 68K)

>spending millions of dollars in JDAMs to destroy cheap hardware and maybe kill your own taxpayers

Mission accomplished. You’ve just wasted huge amounts of government resources and they have accomplished nothing except spending money and possibly killing future sources of revenue.

Around week two of the military going unpaid, they’re probably going to pull a coup.

Until they make robot mechanics we're fine.

or maybe just target the the cheap generator sitting on the back of the stupid thing.

Anybody can learn how to make termite on YouTube.

AI and its application will certainly be an instrument of tyranny. People have been most free when they posess the same weapons as their goverments. The United States was a beacon of freedom when it was born, much less so now. AI, combat robots, drones these things are not as accessible to citizens as they are to the goverments that subjugate. But I belive there is always hope for liberty. I have found science fiction to be a good way to forcast the future. There will always be tyranny and there will always be rebellion. History is a flat circle.

The true scary shit is the total surveillance everywhere.

I accidentally made thermite in my knife shop one day. I didn't clean the iron grindings and shaped some aluminum for a jig.

Figured burning it was the safest way to dispose of it, so I piled it on top of an empty blue propane bottle in the field, stuck a sparkler in it, lit it and ran.

Never found the propane bottle.

Imagine getting killed by an armed Roomba
