Not Orthodox but sort of related. When I was at university I was mutually acquainted with some Jews through some friends I made there who went to private school. The Jewish students all stayed in one clique. All the Jewish students knew each other and would regularly have Jew only social events before nights out clubbing etc. I was told by people who knew these Jews better than I did that the Jews' parents were very strict about dating, they were only allowed to date/sleep with other Jews and were actually encouraged to get into serious relationships with each other. One or two Jewish couples actually got engaged whilst still a Uni. TLDR Jews are actively encouraged to stay within their own race and take marriage very seriously

To expand on this, I taught in a Orthodox community for a year between teaching gigs.
The parents literally have resumes for their kids that they hand out to other parents to find something that works for both families. You parents arrange a 'date' that lasts all day. If a few dates go well, you get engaged and married soon after. Most of the young couples I knew of were given cushy gigs and cheap real estate in Israel. Not a bad gig at all.
