Why aren't you a pagan
Why aren't you a pagan
Paganism: believing in gods you know aren't real because muh ancestors
I have a problem with human sacrifice.
I would take Pagans more seriously if they were genuine about it, but every one I have encountered always says the whole, "Well, they're really just archetypes". If you want to be an Odinist, why wouldn't you believe he really exists as a supernatural being?
Where do Pagans even get their beliefs from? There are no holy books.
The closest thing you have is Hermetic teachings. What's ironic is Hermetic teachings are extremely bluepilled and basically reddit-tier.

I always thought it was some weird way of coping for atheists who like larping. But yeah, as you said, I have yet to see one who was genuine when it came to their beliefs. The most common point I keep hearing from them is. It's about humans and their connections to nature or something. They never go beyond that thought, which is at the same time expected but also quite disappointing
how dare you be anti-abortion you misogynistic shitlord
Why aren't you growing up?

Jidf 1-2 lead for the thread, that's how they bait you now user, with a PLAN.
Stop pushing your likes religion.
Lack of trve paganism and revulsion towards Abrahamism have been pushing me away, towards east in particular. Daoism I find especially interesting; Buddhism too, but again Western Buddhism is an utterly laughable meme, a far cry from Burmese variants. Also I quite like material wealth, so the Daoist worldview is more fitting to my own
To be honest I doubt most pagans even believed in their "gods". I think it was more just stories they felt taught good lessons and defined their culture. Sure some peasants probably believed it but I doubt the "nobles" did.
Also you should look into the similarities between Norse mythology and christianity. There are definitely some things there that need to be looked into.
On their faces buddhism and taoism seem reasonable and enlightening. But once you get past the tao de ching and move onto something meatier like the I ching you realise it is a bunch of crazy bullshit. Wild alchemy style beliefs and other nonsense. Just as much if not more dogmatic prattling than any other religion.
True, the alchemy stuff can get a bit wild, and it reminds me of the pre-Socratic Greek philosophers who attempted to philosophise absolutely everything, and associated arbitrary elements with the human condition. Daoism in particular really emphasises the difficulty in differentiating it between Western definitions of 'religion' and 'philosophy'
bump for Jesus
Your heart is dark and full of filth if you believe there's more than only one God. Only Islam is the one true religion. Everything else is rebellion against the one true God.
