Not the case on Jow Forums. It was definitely the case on 8/pol/. I got permabanned from 8/pol/ 109 times, 95% of the time it would be for making posts critical of Trump. Usually the reason for my banning would either be "shill" or just blank. The posters were of the same mind since I'd get a bunch of (You)'s berating me, either calling me a shill, saying reported, or some angry wall of text. I just one day decided that I actually didn't want to talk to these people anymore and stopped ban evading. Haven't posted on 8/pol since 2016.
I wasn't shilling or trolling but they just didn't want to hear anything that conflicted with some adhoc groupthink of Trump worship combined with a surface level understand of National Socialism and meme cringe.
By the time I left, I hated 8/pol/ posters. Watching them come back to 4/pol/ after 8ch was shutdown was a pleasure for me, because they'd make posts like, "Everything I say on the internet is satire". It was fun watching them grovel like the pieces of spineless shit they are.

user the best way to deal with the janny problem is to use a subscription moderation model. Nobody will use your Janny free mode because without jannies CP will be everywhere. You do the inverse of InfinityChan where everyone can create their own board.
